Disarm and Brutal scud

i'll assume that disarm = stealing weapon. sw doesn't require u to be in stealth

In the description: Approach a hidden enemy, and attempt to disarm it to reduce its Attack Power.
And in the skill calculator: Disarm an enemy from behind to cancel the weapon attack power for a duration.
So the conditions for using stealing weapon is: to attack a hidden enemy from behind? So the target has to be in stealth?
If this is so, this skill should be used only as a sneak attack. Thus if I use brutal scud, the possibility of me using sw is approximately zero?

no stealth required, you just have to stand behind the target
So I guess it is useless in PvP? But somewhat effective on the battlefield and raids? Haven't really used it, so I am not really familiar with its application.
Also, I find it really hard to get behind an enemy in combat (unless they're running away from me). So if I were to really use this technique, I would have to start my combo with sw, then retreat-stealth-brutal scud? I know that I can't immediately use stealth after potent dash (maybe because my weapon is unsheathed), does the same problem exist between retreat and stealth? Please give me some advice! Thank you

So you don't need a weapon for sw? Lol~you need to hide behind a rock and shout boo! and they might drop their weapon

Steal Weapon only works in PvP. It doesn't do anything to the mob except adding a debuff icon which sometimes helpful against some raid bosses.So I guess it is useless in PvP? You can cast SW anytime as long as you are behind your target. It also doesn't break your stealth if you cast while you are in stealth.
Forward Dash and Retreat will put you in combat mode thus you have to wait 3 secs to cast stealth but if you cast it while you are in stealth it won't break stealth.

If it doesn't break stealth,then it would be great to use in a combo (stealth-dash-sw-retreat-brutal scud-spinning edge-infection-then AA till death).Steal Weapon only works in PvP. Hmmm, why would you need home thrust(which only give you paralyze for 3sec) when you already canceled out your opponent's attack power. I have read that it can be used for escape, but you already have retreat and potent dash for that...(I guess the reason I am arguing about this is that I don't think I will have enough points for both retreat and home thrust)yes and yes

Priority of SkillPoints assignment should be HomeThrust > Retreat. Also, people generally only invest 5 points in Retreat. After 5 points into Retreat any additional SkillPoints you dump in there yield diminished return.

I didnt know it didnt break stealth, but then i some times wonder if it actual works in pvp like mentions cause i still get hit good amount of damage after it goes off, which make me wonder if it even does erase the weapon atk for the time duration
The way Stealing Weapon works is it only deduct damage from target's weapon. Target under SW still retain their damage from armor/reinforced jewelries/etc. At least instead of taking 4k damage now you only take 500-1k

As you can see, one of the reasons I don't have enough points for both retreat and homethrust is that I put too much points into quick attack and infection,
and I also wasted some points in doppler and poison of malice. So, now I only have five points for spare between homethrust and retreat. If I put the five points into homethrust, the success rate is around 70%, which is not very high. Is it still worth it?
How do you get 4k output? I know ultimate jewelries, enchants and reinforcements are powerful, but 4k is just too much! It's like 2 hit kill...Are you referring to skill attacks? lot of $$
some sins, sr, rangers can do close to 5k AA
some berserks can do over 6k AA or 10k from skill called lethal death blow
and yeah they get many 1 or 2 hit kills but that's on 0 defense. on people with good defense dmg don't go much above 2k
