Well, I got to thinking a bit more about how many bots are banned weekly. It sort of leaves the community at a loss for banned bots or if anything is done at all without the ban list. But how about we make a forum game of it as a weekly lottery. A simple number guessing game. Every week each forum member can pick a number. At the end of the week, Oda drops the magic number of how many bots were banned. Closest number within 50 wins a prize. If no answer is within 50 then the prize is carried over until next week and added to the next weeks prize and let it build up.
Boosts moral, forum activity, positive vibes about the bot removal, and keeps the community informed. Prize can be anything random GM's wanna choose.
Toss it around a bit guys.

how about if you report a bot (legitimately) your name gets put in for a monthly raffle?

It sounds like a fun idea... although I dunno if they could really support a punishment-driven prize system o.o

i suggest you change the tolerance number from 50 to like i don't know... 2?
as if they'd ban 50 or more bots weekly...

I doubt a number is that big a deal but beyond that its probably a no go for privacy/policy issues.

let's put successfully answered tickets into a raffle;
winning GM/CM gets a pizza.
unsatisfying tickets go into another raffle where the winner gets inhuman punishments. can be creative with that.

bots again? sigh..
if players really want bots removed, then give iro an incentive to stop bots. for example, tell them you won't play if you find bots or tell them you won't spend money if bots are not removed.
only if iro sees that players won't play/pay if bots are around, then they might actually do something. currently, the presence of bots are just a nuisance. if iro notices that players are not playing/paying because of bots, then and only then will they take it really really seriously...
