Never said that, parties just kill more faster and give you people to talk to while you farm the coins. It might be that you need a party, it might not who knows~

Where do you turn these coins into?

I only bought a couple! Not overpriced :>

400m is overpriced compared to 10m (this will be the price at the end of the event)

i think krawfys (with medal of retrivial)

or spiders at ruins

no one ever said they were rare, just some people on the Draconis server asked if they dropped or if it was bugged.

there people said that its a "rare drop"....

it's like epic weapons or something, so rare. better hunt for some Hg and purples or chems or epics, rather than do this event. besides, soon -- everybody will look like a pirate and the items will be sold for >10m. patience ^^

I get heaps, there just as common as dirty's, although they they don't appear to drop from higher tier monsters, leaders, captains etc... Im already selling my boxes and pieces for 50m a pop :\

Hah! maybe ill try my luck seriously though an hour at the eudy spawns, i had 50+ coins albeit with stockpile, still would have had quite a number without it.

Nope skipped 1 to 3 don't like the chatter~ my guess is they just don't know what to hunt for them.

Can anyone confirm if they changed the text for the Pirate event?
Cos when I read it earlier the coins were only supposed to be dropped all over Orlo and now when I reread the event wordings its
all over the 4 planets?

Wasted quite some time farming in Orlo for the coins earlier...

Yeah i thought i read that somewhere aswell, but when you talk to Peg Leg he says something like scattered over all the planets, but I've had coins drop on Orlo, Eldeon and Junon, haven't tried Luna yet.

Ancient Pirate Coins drop on all 4 planets.
They are considered World Drops so they will drop from anything, you just have to be within normal level limits for it the have a chance to drop.

They are considered un-common.
For those that have the Captain Zack outfits, wear it as it will give a +50% chance for additional drops.
Also the Item Mall items will help with that, and Stockpile should help as well.

The Ancient Pirate Coins will be in for the month, so there is time to collect them and there is time to do the Quest as well.

Conclusion: Everyone who bought (the hard to obtain) pirate event stuff in the past months for Billions are screwed? and lost there money!

first event: gms dropt the pirat gear for players
second event: u need to find some bugs to get a chest

but there were hundreds of pirat items alrdy out there

just cause u crazy people think its rare and worthful it does not have to be....

and everyone knew, that the pirat event will be released again this year, so why u bought those items for bills before?? just brainless...


ok, this event tops the others with the droprate, but anyways, this gear was and will not be worth bills (in my opinion)

i agree it was never hard to obtain. But after they got released 1 year later they actually were hard to obtain because the most people who had them 2 or 1 year ago (from the event) quitted or got banned (MEANS LESS IN GAME, MEANS PRICE RISES) so for example the people who wanted the white one for their costume coudnt buy the hat for under 1bill because there were around 20-30 (active) people in game who still had it and didnt wanted to sell it under 1bill so the people offer more and the price gets to 3-6Bill (FACT).

+ you think rare items are the only items worth alot and also that is not true.


PS: you also think Priest clothes are worth 50-300mil because they werent hard to obtain when they were simply in the Item mall?

i know, that 4 months ago, those items were sold for under 100m

and sry, if someone cant wait 4 months until the new pirate event starts, he really should loose bills...
