there is no need to fix 2h blud dmg its ok...need to fix 2h sword dmg
and before u gonna quote me and say they wont fix in some sarcastic way cuz many ppl payed alot to reinf and enchant swords for skill spam ...id like to remind u of the nice sin population that spend alot to make 8/8 rare and 7/7 exi jewels with skill crit for infection ,poisom arrow and poison of malice
and ofc the pinacle of investment in +15 and above FoC and +17 and more exi jewels with light dmg 3-3 and skil crit and wands/bluds +10 and above with 20-20 inside for prot heals
im sure every1 thought the same that it werent going to change

well i expect same thing to happen fo swords so if there is 1 smart person to +a blud for skill spam ...dont laugh :blink:

Actually, is not a bug. It actually makes sence, swords hit higher on skills but they suck for AA compared to Axe (in zerkers case), plus, axe can make it up for the dmg bonus sword gets on skills pretty easily, and so does bluds.
Am I the only one who notice how the lower dmg version of a weapon type gets a bonus in skill dmg? Or you didn't took the time to find out that it was something INTENDED and is not a bug?
In case you don't know, claws also have a dmg bonus on skills, and If I'm not mistaken, so do knuckles (but since the bonus dmg is easy to compensate or even to pass with another type of weapon, nobody notice this).

To the OP, melee wise, that would be zerker when they reach 1.0 speed and if he/she is AA built.

well i do know that claws hit more on skills as for knucks no idea nvr heard anything on that also axes dont get more dmg on skill then bluds and they have weaker dmg same with wands and staves.

as for AA build axe can get to 1.0atk speed.

and intended or not that still might change/fix like many other things.
also seemd not intended cuz seems weird that that swords wil be wep for SS and will not get mp and the obvious choice for SS will get CAD and the obvious AA choice gets medium dmg....seems to me like a weird settings and i have that feel it will change somehow

Emmm when did I said that?
I said both, axe and blud can make up for the dmg bonus swords get on skills. So is actually logical to think that the weaker counterparts of a type of weapon need something to be in pair with the others, in swords case, more dmg in skills.

i was refering to ur thoery on the matter which is possible but
if swords as the weakest gets bigest skill dmg 1h or 2h then axe still should get more then bluds cuz axes are weaker in dmg compare to bluds

would be nice if a CM can forward this to the devs so we can find out if this is indeed intended or not

I've been trying for months with this version, and never got an answer lol...
So I investigated with our korean comrades, and all I could get is that it was something intended and was meant to "balance the not so commonly used weapons".

Not entirey truth, at some point, all reach cap speed (except for 2h bluds), wich makes the lower counterpart completely useless and unnecesary, a small bonus in skill dmg, is a way to balance it out.

If I could have a level 79 sin or a level 79 zerk, with relatively balanced sets (Like i'm given the 70 dps set for either class) and all +15 phys attack orns, i'd probably take sin. It's more fun to watch a sin aa than a zerk for sure.

pff, zerk can do AUAHAHAH animation after every hit and still achieve same dps as sin, and /ha animation on zerk is the sheet

im going for zerk now but not too sure how to build him, so until i find a build im just going too level etc without skills and putting points into stats lol :unsure:

hmm lvling without any skills will be very hard, check out the zerk guide http://forums.warppo...0066#entry70066

things you will want to get are at least lvl 1 of power attack, titans strike and slayer, max charge and terror, 1 in final wrath as filler and max courage, that should make grind easier and you wont cripple your build at all

Warlord must and should use bludgeons for mp and huge dmg..i know ull say that swords tend to do more dmg on skills but at that high reinforcing (+30) and with some 3%,they all compensate on that -_-
