do i really need to collect and prepare 100 each redblood greenlive venture and crystal blue? its hard to farm im doing right now.

This is just my suspicion but
I think how easy it is to harness the regents is related to the level of your endow of that element.

No, you don't need 100 of each. You just need enough so that you can end up getting all three of the reagents.
I only ended up using two types of stones: green lives & wind of verdue since those where the ones I had the most of.
I used green lives to get the red & clear reagents, then used to WoVs to get the black one.
