pure pve is prot by its current nature however commi can be pve built aswell

I'm liking the multiple mob idea. I assume that's Prot?

No, Commie if you want more damage.
Hmmm...alright, now I just need a good PvE build. There's FloorMatt's guide, but That looks to be more for PvP than PvE... >.<

That guide is good for boths PvP and PvE, but if you are gonna tank i recommend both taunts at lvl 10 or at least Taunting cry lvl 10.
Thankies. ^^

defender:
max shield strike
1 fighting will as filler
5 on quick atk (just incase ull use an axe if not then take 4 and put 1 more in physical blessing)
1 on taunt as filler and incase some mob escapes ur taunting cry
max taunting cry
3 on phy blessing (4 if ur using sword)
max survival instinct + 6 dnas(no need more cuz u wont focus on long range defense)
max skin of stone + 9 dnas in PvE short range defense is all u need
commander:
max chain slash(9 target aoe)
1 beam slash as filler and maybe as pull skill
1 rush as filler and advancing skill(no need to max since ur not chasing players and need the extra range)
max one handed wep mastery +10 dna more dmg always good
5 boomerang of sword aura (aoe, dont need to max cuz the DoT dmg will drop so not worth it)
max Moonlight slash (strongest aoe for commi)
max adamant mind (will help against slow, fear and stun skills later that some mobs will throw at u)
i think that would be best build for PvE ONLY
enjoy

a diffrence in PvP and PvE for commi build will be in the need for face strike, chains of restrain and that 1 point in promise victory....*sigh*... anyway as PvE u can have the following build
defender:
max shield strike
1 fighting will as filler
5 on quick atk (just incase ull use an axe if not then take 4 and put 1 more in physical blessing)
1 on taunt as filler and incase some mob escapes ur taunting cry
max taunting cry
3 on phy blessing (4 if ur using sword)
max survival instinct + 5 dnas(no need more cuz u wont focus on long range defense)
max skin of stone + 10 dnas in PvE short range defense is all u need
commander:
max chain slash(9 target aoe)

max one handed wep mastery +10 dna more dmg always good

max adamant mind (will help against slow, fear and stun skills later that some mobs will throw at u)

Sory, but i dont agrre with some things here...
First, why physiical blesing?? that skill sucks, HP does not regen in battle!! Just sit after battle and youll regen HP fast enough.
Second, beam slash is no an aoe, its a ranged skill, but not aoe
Third, why lvl 5 dna on survival istinct and 10 on skin of stone?? Youll get more defence with 6 on survival and 9 on skin of stone. Form lvl 5 to 6 theres a huge boost there.
Fourth adamant mind is a pvp skill, in pvp only stunt (and fear?)inmunity works, and they dont work in raid bosses.
Six no shield strike?? Stunts are great everywhere, if you are figting 1 single mob (in dungeoms you`ll probably be killing 1 by 1 or 2 maybe) its 3 secs not taking dmg
Seven, If you plan to tank Chain of Restrain can be used as second skill to pull( but you wont need more than 1 point here for that, in PvP yes, lvl it up)
Well at least that what think
Best of Luck, Dess

1)i suggested extra points on phy blessing to shorten to time to sit after combat .....in PVE u want to grind fast not slow.....ofc also depends on quick atk buff and the weapon u will use.
2)i did write beam slash for a 2nd time as aoe instead of moonlight slash i apologies, will edit and ty:)
3)u are correct my bad 6 dna on survival instinct and 9 on skin of stone will produce most short range defense, ill edit and tyvm:)
4)even tho it says "PVP Only" adamant mind infact works against JS mob's stun and fear same with other same skills....against bosses no thats correct but i did say "mobs" only.
5)i did infact wrote "max shield strike" as the first skill on 1st job.
6)hmm well beam slash is same range as CoR....but yea can take 1 for extra pull wont hurt but thats for the user to decide.
ty for ur comment:)

Doesnt matter what the description says for Adamant Mind. Of course it works in PvE too. So far it works against ANY mob in Requiem. It will also work against lower level bosses, e.g. Houman in SL or wandering Humbaba.
The debate about shield strike. I still believe lvl 6 is more than enough. You get the 3 second stun duration and 75% chance. This chance is good enough. You might think 95% is the thing PLUS why not use DNA to take it over 100%? Because... you will MISS all the same. Many times. You will miss LESS when your level is closer or higher to your opponent. Level difference is the only way to guarantee increased chances of success. Spending more skill points on it is a waste I would say. From personal experience of 15 months, countless fights with mobs up to level 85 (event Golem) and also capped players (level 79).

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............LUV YA! (this is just a game....this is j ah nvm)poison gaurds are 74-75 and u are 74 so u just reinforced what ninn said. Go try ur luck on some 80+ mobs. My commie is 79 and has maxed stun with no DNA. 95% chance and misses lots on 80+ mobs. With DNA to make it over 100% he still missed. I dont know the exact % drop in chance per lvl diff but it is rumored to be 5% per lvl difference. So if I am 79 and hitting a mob lvl 83 then i have to subtract 20% from my chance. Add to that the miss rate of skills in general (which I believe makes the odds even lower) and you miss the stun regardless. I have been saying the same thing as ninn for ages. lvl is more important than % chance. I have the stun maxed mainly for pvp purposes and dmg increase.
