I won't write an extensive guide, because most of people wont read it <_<
Since they increased the range of chaos & fire totem, I think I will stay forsaker :wacko:

Forsaker lvl 85 build:

Shaman Job_

10_ Fireball
10_ Flame arrow [double aoe than before :pif:]
10_ Dura Amulet
1_ Mana Amulet
1_ Wound Care
1_ First Aid [most of the heal comes from magic damage & scad]
1_ Burning Hell [kinda like a filler]

Level 50 job_

10_ Fire Totem [HUGE improvement on this spell, it has a 1 second cooldown after it runs out]
9_ Chaos Totem [In my opinion, this spell suffered a big nerf. 1.39 casting time, the accuracy is a joke, ticks fail alot]
9_ Master of Fire [I know, this spell is quite weak, but its a passive. It can't be removed]
10_ Blazing Wind
10_ Loa's Curse [the m/s scales has been nerfed, I used to have 7 to 9 points here, but now I need all 10 =/]
10_ Magic Weapon Mastery

So far, I spent 92 points.
10 left to go. If you wanna take 10 points on plague charm, for raids, go ahead. It cd has been improved, bosses will be debuffed all the time.
Or you can aither go for 9 points on soul explosion, or max burning hell.

I refuse to put points on Mana Burn. It only burns 35% of mana, wich is :bash:. It is a spell only againts radiants (pve skill disabled).

Flame wave has been reworked, is kinda like a second burning meteor. But it only stuns for 1 second and it has a 1.39 casting time. To me, its another spell to skip.

DNA~

10_ Swift Fire Totem
10_ Dura Amulet
10_ Strenghtened Blazing Wind
So far, we got the must have dna set, here is the optional;
10_ Strengthened Plague Charm [if you use 10 skills points and 10 dna, you will be reducing -40% of damage, not bad]
6_ Magic Weapon Mastery
1_ Strenghtened Flame Arrow
1_ Fire Totem Intensification
1_ Strengthened Fireball
1_ Strengthened Vindictive Mind [I know it looks bad, but 1 skill point + 1 dna gives yo 7 fire damage on ALL spells]
or
You can take out those 10 from plague charm, max Magic Weapon Mastery and add some points on extended Loa's Curse.
There are some targets you might take you longer to kill, also works by messing with people xD


For me, after spending 30 dna on a forsaker is really enough, rest is kinda filler.

Overall, I love my spamable fire totem ^.^


Mystic lvl 85 build

Shaman Job_

10_ Fireball
10_ Fire Arrow
10_ Dura Amulet
1_ Wound Care
1_ First Aid
1_ Mana Amulet
1_ Burning Hell


Level 50 job_

10_ Bloodlust
10_ Fire Rain [it has 8 meters aoe now o.o]
9_ Hellfire [dot last almost double, lots of pure damage over time]
10_ Fairy's Protection [must have, 10% scc]
6_ Healing Totem [it has been nerfed alot, accuracy sucks at lower lvls, duration and range also. I mainly use it for ET raids and removing those annoying dots during pvp]
9_ Protection Totem [they f@cked up this spell big time, increasing cooldown, decreasing duration, range by ALOT. But now it adds long range defense]
10_ Summon Healing Fairy [if you combine this, with first aid and healing totem, you can heal quite alot]
4_ Burning Meteor [I know its lame, but sometimes you have to use some kind of CC on someone, even with 1 to 3 points is good enough. You may take 3 from here and put them on healing totem, your choice]

You may go 9 points on protection totem if you please, survivability aspect and helps alot during jugger nut "raid". His aoe is physical damage I believe.
I still dont like this totem, but yet, I have lots of point to spend.

The Mind Burn [or whatever] is even worst than forsaker's version. Not going to waste 2 points on this spell <.<



DNA~


10_ Swift Fire Rain
10_ Dura Amulet
7_ Extended Hellfire [you may go with full dna, which will allow you to cast 2 hellfire]
10_ Bloodlust
5_ Swift Healing Fairy.
5_ Extended Protection totem [you need AT LEAST 5 dna to make the duration the same as the cooldown]
1_ Strengthened Protection Totem [gives 364 more defense in a single dna, you get like 1100 defense with this dna and 9 skill points]
1_ Strenghtened Fire ball
1_ Strenghtened Fire arrow

You may suit the dna to your own necessities, like giving less dna on hellfire and more dna on extended healing totem/protection totem. Your choice.


You may take burning meteor and flame wave as well if you feel that you need the extra CC (crow control; stuns, sleeps, etc).

What I can see, they balanced shamans and buffed up warriors alot. Its the time for bartuks to lead the top scores on battlefields :bash:

I have same .

Another option is to max burning hell skill points and give some AOE dna, making it a decent aoe.

There is no DNA for aoe Burning Hell, it has splash effect.
If i recall well, there is two DNA for burning hell: longer range and strenghtened.

I have burning hell lvl 10 (no DNA) for grind/quest since the casting time has been reduce to 1sec, but i'll switch to pvp and will max plague charme when i'll have my toon capped.

I prefer to cast a fire totem almost instantly, many people capped fire resist with 120% or more (et ball, armor, theme shield, etc).

With 25 dna only:

10 dura
9 swift fire totem (gloves cut 0.11 of casting time)
6 debuffer

You will use 100 times more fire totem than blazing wind.
That debuffer is more like situational thing.

and 25 dna mystic buid:

1 Bloodlust
4 Swift Summon Fairy [gloves cut a part]
10 dura
9 Swift Fire Rain
1 Extended Hellfire (maybe)


p.s.
I dont remember exactly the dna on burning hell, ingame descriptions are lame.

also edit, I'm currently testing 10 dna on more "splash effect" of blazing wind. Each dna gives 1 more meter in "effective radius".
The spell itself gives 8 radius effect, with dna should give 18 meters, not bad. But again, this dna might be broken...

Im thinking on giving 10 dna on strenghtened fire ball, thats 88 extra damage or so......

Ur mystic DNA is kinda poo. Since they added res to everything adding 1 point to the random atks is just a waste of DNA. This is the DNA build I use.
DNA:
1: Strengthen Dura Amulet lv10 ~ +1216 HP
2: Extended Hellfire lv8 ~ +16s duration
3: BloodLust Intensification lv10 ~ +73 fire dmg
4: Extended Healing Totem lv1 ~ +7s duration
5: Strengthened Healing Totem lv1 ~ +21 Heal
6: Extended protection Totem lv6 ~ +18s duration
7: Strengthened Protection Totem lv1 ~ +363 SR/LR Def
8: Quicken Healing Fairy lv5 ~ -1.0s cast

Havent gotten my 5 free DNA yet tho so this is only with 45 DNA points. The only great thing to come out of this is the new Hellfire + DNA makes for a killer spell. Everything else got -_-ted on.

yup, thats why Im tempted to stay forsaker :S
The problem is that I dont have the gear to be a good forsaker ----> celebrity set & eternal wisdom.

Btw, my build is only for PVP.
I like very much having summon of fairy as instant cast and 10 points in it.
After a few testing, I believe I will use protection totem after all, with 5 dna on duration [the totem will last 41 seconds total] and 1 for more defense. With thise I will be pretty tanky againts some sr/rangers out there.


Have you tried forsaker after patch, Zuru ?

Yea I have. Im so not used to that class cuz Im so comfortable playing Mystic. Saker has a different playstyle then Mystic does. I was Saker for about a day but sucked at it lol.

Its all about placing right the chaos totem, the rest is easy :(

I kill ALOT more been mystic, but I have more fun being forsaker :DDD

lol I did same, played mystic 1 day: easy and fast aoe, damn nice def, but too static for me, i didn't feel at ease.

Well, I like both, saker is way more fun wit that op chaos totem, and mystic kill more but it doesnt have any CC. Its all about placing 2 aoes and tank abit.

In the end, I still use burning meteor. But not 10 points, 1 to 3 (max).
If you check the stats on healing totem, 6 points is enough. For pve builds you might want to max it, but for pvp (with some pve) 6 is enough.
Protection totem with extended dna is very nice indeed, exept that there are way too many mallwhores with lots of steroids.

I will stay forsaker for a while, I like to be able to fight well againts those mallwhores. Mystic doesnt have any cc, I get raped quite often because of that. I believe mystic is good fighting along with a small group. Forsaker can take down single targets or small groups on its own.

Im planing on uncursing some ET knuckles and use it them on my mystic. As I'm losing alot of SCC when I change to this weapon, I will need protection fo fairy buff to compensate. For now, xenovia and theme shield is best suited for forsaker.
I know, staff have more damage, but that damage is reduced by 80%. I did some (lame) maths comparing ET staff and ET Knuckles. I figured that if I go knuckles instead of staff, I will be losing around 36 to 108 scad for exchange of 2700 hp.
Right now, I need the hp, I'm using sealing and I'm so squishy.

Of course, If I can perfect a staff lvl 85, I will rather go that way xD

For saker best armor is Celebrity. Drops in plugger. Why celebrity ? because before you cast your fire totem or fire balls, you will be casting debuffers and chaos totem. That takes time, you need to get closer to a single target. For that, you need to resist their attacks for a bit. You need the hp. I tested forsakers and mystics as well.
Best set is celebrity, lvl 72 CON/SCAD set: you can use it on saker, and tank/suicidal mystics.

Weapon ? I would say wand+magic shield.
Theme magic shield lvl 65 (best shield in game for pvp).
Perfect Wand CON > Uncursed Wand > Xenovia Symbol > Eternal Wisdom.

The first two are a pain in the ass to get and if you go for celebrity set you also might want an HP wand = Eternal Wisdom (Wand of Reposing is also good).

You can aslo go for lvl 85 or 79 knuckles like I did, or go for lvl 71, 70, 79, 85 staff. I prefer wand/shield for saker.
