Ok I have just made a Soul Linker and am wondering which Spirit Links to learn.

Currently my Soul Linker is at Lvl 53/10 right now. Planning on making an Esma build.

Current Skills and Stats are as follows.

Int 70
Dex 20
Agi 9
Str/Vit/Luk 1

Mild Wind 7
H/P Break 10
Kihop 5
Tumbling & Flying Kick 8
Sprint 10

Will have 1 point in the following Spirits because of pre reqs
Wizard, Priest, Monk and Crusader.

Projected skills will be Esma 10, Estin & Estun 14, Kahi 1, Sage Spirit 5.

Not sure if I will be getting Kaina yet or not though. if not I will have 15 skill points to assign, or 8 when I do. So any tips about what would be useful for others greatly appreciated.

Usually the ones most desired, but not necessarily the ones more useful to you, are Assassin, Rogue, and Wizard.

Bard & Dancer Spirit if you plan on doing WoE on it. That way the Minstrel can string himself so he can spam tarot and being able to walk at full speed is nice.
Same as what Sera said. Assassin, Wizard and Rogue Spirit.

I really think it's very unfair to have so many Soul Link skills.

I mean the Soul Linker has 27 different skills with 143 skill points possible. Some max out at level 3/5/7 and 1 at 10. It just seems that they should have really let this class goto job lvl 70 to be fair.

Think about how rediculous it is for the only bolt spell they have, Esma, to need an investment of 16 skill points just to unlock it?! That's more than it takes a mage to unlock FW or SW. Crusaders GC takes 17 skill points to unlock but at least those skills, mainly Faith, are very useful to have.

One of the easiest and simplest of adjustments imho would have been to eliminate the dual 2nd class skills. Like combine the Monk & Priest Links, or the Sage & Wizard etc... This would have eliminated the need for 6 skills and 30 skill points right there. 7 if they combined Soul Linker and TaeKwon-Master.

The Links I truly want to max for my own guys are the Following.

Sage (Great difference between 3Bolts and 10Botls)
Monk (Combo Monks really need a bit of splash in their combos)
Assasin (200% damage is just sick lets face it.)
Priest (5x Damage of a great Holy spell. who cares about the 5x cost int priests have loads) (Though probally won't get this as Linker and Priest are on same account.)
Soul Linker (As just the skill Kaahi warrants this, think how this would do on a Wiz or Hunter)(May just have to make another to use this)

Ones I am not sure of.

Wizard (the no gems required for stone curse is worthless, but for SW perhaps it's good. Also ability to ignore reflect dam from soul linkers negligible.)

The ability to ignore reflect damage from Soul Linkers is not negligible in WoE. In small guilds sure, but any decent sized guild is bound to have a Soul Linker and if they are smart will easily take out the Wizard pre cast leaving your guild pretty open.

But I digress, as it's a Esma build and your probably not going to WoE on it much (if at all) you can just get whatever links are beneficial to you.

My Soul Linker has Hunter Spirit and Sage Spirit for my other account and is an Esma build.

The High Wizard soul link, as Chaiso said, is very important.

All powerful WoE guilds are bound to have a handful of soul linkers, and one of them can conceivably have the reflect skill. Slap fire armor on that and park it in a precast and it will wreck an unprepared guild.

But yeah, like I said, those are some of the 'best' links, but they're not necessarily useful for you, and they will not help you get parties.

Formost should be choosing links that your other characters can benefit from if the Soul Linker is on an alternate account.
Blacksmith link is a very practical link to have, for instance.

Well, you can't have your cake and eat it too.

You can be offensive or be support, can't really be both.

It's the same as scholar, you can't be an effective support scholar if you're a bolter, and vice versa.
