Hello,
I'm having trouble locating someone to repair my equipment when it breaks.
Is there an NPC somewhere that will provide this service for me?
Where to repair my equipement?

I believe there's one in every town actually, the one in Payon is directly below the refinement NPC, it's just called "Repairman".

The best place I goto is in the battle grounds area (which can be accessed from most towns).
He is below the kafra / storage person in that small sitting area.

If the town has an armor / weapon shop they almost always have the repair NPC in it. Also if it happens during WoE ( and you have VIP - I think VIP is now a req anyways) you can talk to the Kafra gals on any WoE castle map, scroll down a few options and get a repair right from them.
Known towns with repair NPCs ( not at home right now.... so can't check 100% ):
Pront - upgrade shop near the upgrade NPC
Geffen northwestish inner circle has the weapon / armor shop with repair NPC
Payon - near the kafra shop gals, just slightly northwest of them
And as others noted Battle Grounds.
Half remembered, not 100% sure:
Lighthalzen
Alberta
Izlude
Rachel
Juno

Aldebaran has one on the Northwest side of town before you cross the river.

VIP is not needed to Save, Storage, or Repair from a WoE Kafra (not sure for 1.0, but I'm certain with a 2.0 Kafra) Getting VIP would get you a Rest option.
