Thanks for making it tradable. But was wondering if it's going to maintain its effects or be changed?

Would be nice if it stayed. The pies really make for nice PVM supplies.

99% they will change it because of botting :)

I saw already a lot of bots with the hat while the last few weeks.

I hope it doesn't change. Pumpkin pies aren't nearly as powerful as ales, and we don't see bots abusing the christmast tree hat (which argually generates much stronger SP items)

too much trouble for too little turnout.

I also hope the effect stays. Pumpkin pies aren't very OP.

Me and some guildies tested them this past week. One a VIT char, slims > pies. It's 20 pies FIXED to 100% HP/SP.

I love them for leveling.

I just have to say, this hat is very well designed. I was testing it just now and there's a few reasons why I doubt it will be too popular with bots:

1) you can't wear a spare card alongside it. If you wear this hat you'll be hunting pumkin pies. End of story.

2) the "bloody party" effect means that you can't just run around killing everything on the map one by one. In order to get max efficiency, you actually have to tank a mob with reflect gears, and then kill the mob the moment 'bloody party' activates. You need generally goodish gears to do this, and most importantly it's just fun for a human player. Kind of like a mini-game!

3) there are only a few places in the game with high density mobs of low lv aggro enemies sutable for farming pies, so if bots start learning to do this, it should be easy for GM's to catch them.

overall, I would love if the hat's effect would remain. it's really so fun I've almost forgotten to farm ales.

I love these hats and really hope the effects stays. It's a nice little bonus collecting the pies while leveling and using them when I need to.

People were mass botting pies before this hat, so I would assume this would do the trick even better.

It doesn't proc on skills so it's not really a big deal... it's sick for reflectors tho

Yes it does ^_^

I loved mobbing the niflheim turnin map or Nogg or Juperos with Rainstorm.

I tried Orc Dungeon to farm the pies, but they die too fast.

I have friends who used other masks because of the other effects.

And for gum farmers = It does not affect the proc rate. Maybe it may make all the items drop at once, but it does not change the rate /gg

It triggers on Valk Mant reflect effect. I remember getting at least 80 pies with 1 HE gum on my Mechanic.

Only change would be making the drops not activate on maps we already designated as "no gear dropped items", but that shouldn't effect the big picture.

Pumpkin Pie ingame looks like pizza...

But yeah, I love/hate this hat plus the mask combo. Love it because it's fun and the pie and candy drops excite me. Hate because it procs ALL THE TIME and the floor is scattered with all this stuff I can't pick up without Greed. But OMG, it's so much fun. It's so much fun XD

yeah it procs on valk mant. One thing I do is load up my mechanic with reflect gears, pull up mob, wait patiently for bloody party to proc and then quickly use axe tornade > greed.

so far I've farmed about 500 pies. I might actually be able to use these instead of ice creams on my mado mech!

I'd wish the effects stay. I like the Flee+10 from the witch + opera mask ^^ (Thanks to it, even my sorcerer can break the flee 400 mark)

Anyway, what's those special procs like "Bloody Party!! HAA!!" or "Trick or Treat!!"? (I get "Trick or Treat!!" and I have no idea what's that)

when your effect procs, all monsters you kill in the next 1 second or so will drop the special items. So basically it's best used if you're mobbing.

That's when the effect activates.
Bloody Party is the drop effect (for a short duration, every mob that's killed in time drops the items), and I assume that "Trick or Treat" is the Flee Effect for Opera.

I'm not sure, since just equiping it I already get the Flee+10, unless there's something else, like the Stun chance :).

Yes. "Trick and Treat" is the stun. I don't have one Opera mask, so I don't know how it procs on area skills like Severe Rainstorm and alike.
