Threads concerning discussion between different classes should go here, not in the general discussion forum.

I think the problem is that people are assuming that you cannot post in the main Class Discussion forum, and that you are limited to only the subforums.

Thanks for making the Topic Yurai.

I guess ill start off, is there any place where someone can view the updates to the jobs? If not do you know any/all the updates that Paladins will get?

Here and here.
Future, future updates are here.

Yea, it's all my posts on IAHGames, but I don't really know anyone else who compiled these information on gPotato's forums.

Those are just the skill changes though.
Weapon ATK for paladin rises by 1.5 - 2 times, and up to 1.5 times for myrmidon, I believe.

Just something that I've been thinking about for awhile.

Would Warrior or Thief be a better choice if someone wants to Level fast in the early stages?
My cousin asked me this question and I was like erm...mmm...err...

I've played my thief to lv 50, but my warrior to lv 20 only...
So I'm not entirely sure what to say..

If anyone of you would like to give me some opinion and advice here,
You are more than welcome! :o

Well, that depends. If you want just to level, you should go for Paladin. After the PSB patch, they will be really OP. But, IMHO, they are boring now. I'm playing on -_-, and I got tired of my pally. I'm making a Glad now, so fun :3
Assassins will be good for PvE too, so it's up to you.

Makes sense, most people overlook this forum seeing as there is only 1 thread....

Well, it depends. If your friend is going to level up by himself or with friends, but if he had to choose a class to maximize himself, it would have to be warrior due to the Paris patch and subsequent patches afterward.

I wanted to make a glad too but were all trying to be different in the party and i drew the short straw D:

Assassins might be fun too, but i don't feel as if they got a lot of 'umpf' post Paris unless someone can point things out

Eh I am only interested in PvE until PvP gets to a skillful and competitive level like other games. Idk, i feel like the reason why im not into DO PvP is because its a step down from other games i have been into.

But yea, Assassins seem lack luster compared to the other classes post paris...

But people get outplayed by cash gear and evade stackers, and since when does stacking a stat that gives a faux god mode require skill rather than time/cash? idk, maybe the THQ servers made me a downer about it with the immense lag since it was a P2P server. As well i don't find it a challenge investing into a single stat to counter a specific type of PvPer. i hate to say it, but i think i have a habit of comparing games onto a scale of WoW :/.

You can't compare a F2P and P2P. From all the pvps I've played so far, DO has by far one of the best pvp. Having said that, yeah it may not be balanced but it has very good potential.

You are generalizing that everyone will stack instead of making the match fair.

i know that what i meant by i hate that i have a habit of comparing games onto a scale of WoW (implying F2P to P2P

No, but higher tiered PvPing its going to be more common than pub. Im talking on the assumption of high tiered, people respect the match, but still flood their accounts. Of course everyone is not doing it but once you get to a certain level you have to beat those players. In pubs people will still revolve around locks and such. Sure not everyone will do it but it'll be more common.

Just because you have a habit of comparing games to WoW, doesn't mean you can. WoW and DO are completely different games.

Yeah, they are completely different. But, please guys, let's get back on topic.

I was wondering if I should make a pally or a glad when the servers are back up. I mean, knights are so op after this patch, and glads are going to get a nice boost, not so op as knights. I was thinking about ninja too, but I don't know. Any suggestions? :3
