The Thanksgiving Weekend sales and events are over.

  • End Double EXP
  • Green Ales change to 5 Weight, no reuse and heal 10% HP/SP
  • 50 Box of Food Ends
  • HE Bubble Gum, and HE Battle Manuals discontinue being sold
  • Groove pack discontinues being sold
  • Early Christmas Gift discontinues.
  • Enriched Hammer leaves
  • Troy finally moves into the Eden Group upstairs for all your Elite Slotting needs. Description will be updated with new location on the Slotting Advertisements
  • Repair man can be found in the Eden Group kitchen, he can be convinced to help you despite his trying to relax there. will cost 10,000 per broken item
  • Multi turnin on the Ale exchange.
  • Thanksgiving quest "Chefs of Iron" continues to the 6th.
  • Turnins
    90-110 Rachel Field
    - Hill Wind
    - Desert Wolf
    115-130 Abyss Lake
    - Gold Acidus
    - Blue Acidus
    135-150 Scaraba Hall
    - Antler Scaraba
    - Rake Scaraba
  • St Pats Hat will lose Green Ale dropping.
    St Pats Hat will gain an effect on hit of doing the Green Ale heal. (As if you are drinking a Green Ale)
  • Einbroch saves being updated. Kafra by Airship will save by Airship, Kafra by Inn will save by Inn, and both will have an Eden Representative.
  • Izlude outdoors will get an Eden Representative by the Kafra
  • Geffen Will receive 1 more Eden Representative in the 2 oclock position between the East exit and the Inn.
  • Green Ale Turnin is updated to allow you to turnin more at 1 time, so you can do it faster.

Other things being looked at:

  • Updating dialog on the KVM/BG exchanger mailbox.
  • Moving the Bargain Hunters box to the "Utility" Kafra.
  • Checking several MVPs to be sure they have their Gravestone working.
  • Gramps will take away your timer for the old "Cracked Buckler" turnin
We are rebuilding Sakray from the ground up to attempt to resolve lingering showstopper bugs with the skill balance and 14.1 updates. We are doing it there so we know exactly how to do it correctly when the live server launch comes about. Most updates go smoothly as far as data transition goes, but 14.1 introduces a new mindset for how the database stuff works and it could potentially be a moderate disaster if not done 100% correctly when we come to the live. This is part of what is causing all the delays with our 14.1 update on Sakray, we are the first server to work with this package of updates as well, which has its own adventures as well.

Optimally Skill testing will start by Thursday this week, and December 6th we would load 14.1 on there too, launching the skill balance patch on the 6th or 13th on the live servers, with 14.1 following a week or 2 after in time for the Christmas holiday.



SO... Ale hat effect will occur with Magic and Physical as well just as the St. Pat hats originally did?????? with higher upgrade adding higher chance for effect?
please dont limit my Warlock to physical hitting to recover...

From what I've heard about Nightmare Mode, it's even painful for parties.

When have we used that, and where does it come from. I can't implement what I don't have.


It is a custom "Event" dungeon similar to overlooked water dungeon that kRO and jRO have. There is a useless NPC selling perfumes by the entrance of the scarab hole that is supposed to bring you to it when you talk to the lower gard on the left with the perfums. Since we don't have Nightmare Mode those 2 NPC's do nothing but eat up 500z every time you try to enter nightmare mode.

Yay for East Geffen Eden ! Now give us a save point there too, Pront has one on all 4 sides (5 if you include the Inn).

I have 30 Job manuals on an account that I'm never going to have another character on that needs job levels. WTF am I supposed to do with those? I can't trade them, I can't sell them. They're going to sit there doing absolutely nothing in my storage. You can trade the box, why not the individual manuals? I don't get it.

Agreed, there are kafra/mailboxes present, why does the save point send is back to South Geffen? East kafra should save us near her.

I have 80+ Job manuals from boxes as well--the only thing that sucks about these is that they stack linearly with a BMx3. How about we make it so it multiplies the effect of a BMX3--aka, make it so that BMx3 + Job Manual = 4.5x Job instead of 3.5x job that we get currently?

That would at least ease the pain a bit.

I vote for GMs which relive to the balance patch. Just be patient for players who seek for the balanced skills because it is just a notification to know it will be implemented in the near future after GMs fix all the problems. If players can't wait then they can stop playing for now and wait until the patch out. This is not what GMs should worry about because they are busy with all the bug/lagging/patch problems. All the complains we have on forum will just will slow down GMs' work. Also, been participation of something new is good but please don't make it go bad because many other players are still patient waiting but GMs don't know. Forum is for communication but not for complains. I hope this forum is really function the way it should be :dunno:

Please fix the Expanded Super Novice BUG with Lude and Quve card combo which do not trigger at all and the Super Novice Angel not appearing after successfully erasing death record of an Expanded Super novice. Thanks!!!

So the Patrick hat will have the effect like RWH but with +10% (50% ?) HP , SP ? or the chance is much lower?

On that note, I have a (more recently-made) character in the 130's who still has the annoying "Join the Eden Group" quest. Why would a level 130+ want to join the eden group? I don't need eden gear, and I don't need to do any of the eden quests, and I don't want the Mark of Eden, so... why can't I just get rid of the quest? I sent in a ticket, but it was brised aside by an uppity, rude, and unhelpful representative, who (basically) told me there's nothing that can be done, which is obvious BS, since removing quest cookies is a simple matter.

In any case, there's no way to avoid getting the quest, since new characters now receive it as they leave the training grounds, but some of us neither need, nor want, to join the Eden Group. We need an option to either refuse the quest and/or an option to have the quest cookie removed by an NPC. Much like how gramps will remove the Cracked Buckler quest cookie. Heck, maybe gramps can even be the one who does it.

Another option would be just a general "quit quest" option. A few months ago, I completed the Gusli Moscovia quest on one of my characters, and received the Gusli, and played it for the tsar, and went to the whale island and such, and totally completed the quest, but the quest still remained in the quest window, telling me to talk to NPCs in Moscovia. I've since deleted that character, for various reasons, but at the time, I did not like having unwanted, bugged quest info taking up space. So I think you guys need a better way of dealing with quest problems and unwanted quests.

Yeah. Take the time to get it right on Sakray. Better than launching it on the main servers and rendering them unplayable, and consequently having to remove it to continue fixing it on Sakray. Better just to fix it beforehand.
