I saw quite a bit of typos in the training ground npcs

The Cool Event NPC:
"Hello. We are working for stuff and event industry in Midgard sams as Kafra service in Run-Midgad kingdom."
"Our zonda is supporting you [storage service], [save point service], [teleport service]"

Soldier NPC (some Engrish and typos):
"All of thir clothes are quite different to their roles. please refer this. you can get to know the direction, once you meet them."
"The soldier in each villaes, they varies in their role. Please refer this. you can meet the Soldiers to get the direction guide."
**(also when talking to him again, he says "What can I help you? Can I explain again?" and one of the options you can choose is "Yes, I need an explaination.")

Brade (some Engrish and typos):
"Now this is real practice. Welcome to here. We can practice real battle here."
"As I explained at first time, we can click on the monsters. One attack per click"
"For convenience, with clicking on Ctrl key, it's automatically attacking untill the battle is gone."
"So you can set this mode before battle with [/nc]. Go there with any side."
"Now all of course are almost done. You are Novice, and you couldn't get any jobs yet."
"We are almost near the end of Training Course."
**(when he talks about the classes, he says "the acolyte with holly power". yay you can attack them with the power of Christmas! xD
the rest of the descriptions seem redundant ie "the magician with magical power", "the archer with bow", "the thief with dagger", "the swordman with long sword")
**(when you talk to him again in the field outside, he asks if you want to stay longer or go to town, and one of the options you can choose says "I will stay little longer.")

Thief Guild Member NPC:
"hieves are experts at using Dagger class weapons."
"hey are also feared for their use of poison,"

Nun from the Cathedral NPC (weird grammer and typo):
"they sacrifice themselves to help others by the teach of the God"
"they use supportive skils to make the combat more easier."

Archer Guide NPC (weird grammer):
"The other sides, Archers are attentive and has an incredible accuracy eyes."

The following errors can be found in the Training Grounds NPCs. I'd rather not have to post all of the screen shots I took, so if you want to see what I'm talking about, just go through the training grounds.

Guide: bold=Mispelled word/character name | red=grammar fix | italics=fixed wording to not sound so weird.

[Sprakki]
I will guide you to the Novice Training Center. Inside Instructor 'Blade' is waiting to speak to you.

[Instructor Blade]
Sigh...I'll be blunt with you. I just can't get used to formalities you know. Don't give me that look!

[Instructor Blade]
Anyway, continuing on...let's talk about items and equipment.

[Instructor Blade]
First, take these.
These are very basic equipments and recovery potions.

[Instructor Blade]
In the upper left Basic Info. Window, press the "Item" icon to open the Item Window.

[Instructor Blade]
The Item Window is divided into 3 sections: consumable items, equipment, and other items. If you want to use or equip items, just double-click them or drag them into the Equipment Window.

[Instructor Blade]
Jinha is here in this room somewhere. Go find him and have him teach you the [First Aid] skill.

[Instructor Blade]
Come back and talk to me after you've learned [First Aid] from Jinha.

[Jinha]
Its recovery amount is small. Even so, it will help you survive a critical hit.

[Jinha]
Good, now that you've learned the [First Aid] skill you can go back to Instructor Blade and show him what you've learned.

[Chocolat]
Nice to meet you!
I'm going to tell you about the people you'll be seeing in town.
There are many different people living in town, and it would be a good idea to know some of them.

[Chocolat]
There's a lot of people in town, but these three are the most important to know.
*Note: This, and some of the other NPC dialogue came off as being very redundant.*

[Chocolat]
They are the [Kafra] Agents, on the left, and their rival company, the [Cool Event Corp.], in the center. When you visit a town for the first time, you should talk to the [Information Soldier].

[Kafra Agent]
With our veteran teleportation skills, your trip will be safe and comfortable.
Oh, and remember that the places you can teleport to vary from town to town.

[Kafra Agent]
Would you like me to explain our services again?
*Note: She never mentions the cart service in her spiel.

[Cool Event Corp. Staff]
Hello.
I work for the Cool Event Corporation, which provides the same services as the Kafra Corporation which provides service in the Rune-Midgard Kingdom.

[Cool Event Corp. Staff]
We offer the [Save Service], [Storage Service], and [Teleport Service].
*Note: What the heck is zonda supposed to mean?! O_o*

[Cool Event Corp. Staff]
We all wear red coats, so we're easy to spot. You'll find us in locations outside the Rune-Midgard Kingdom where the Kafra Corporation does not work.

[Information Soldier]
Our soldiers are posted at town gates to help guide you. If you need to know anything about the town you have arrived in, we can provide you with useful information.

[Information Soldier]
All of our clothes are different from the other townsfolk, so we're very easy to spot. If you are lost in town, come find one of us and we can give you directions.

[Information Soldier]
We'll mark the place you're trying to get to with a + on your map.

[Information Soldier]
If you want to go to another town, ask a Kafra Agent, and you can go there using the [Teleport Service].

[Information Soldier]
Lastly, I'll explain how to use [Inns]. There are [Inns] located in every town.

[Chocolat]
You've completed all the quests I gave you! As a reward, I will give you some free tickets for the Kafra Storage and Teleportation Services. They will come in handy.

[Chocolat]
Combat Training will be given by Instructor Blade. You met him earlier, remember? I will send you to the Combat Training Field now.

[InstructorBlade]
Welcome to the Combat Training Field. Now it's time for some actual combat training.

[InstructorBlade]
As I explained before, you can click on monsters to attack them. One click is one attack.

[InstructorBlade]
For convenience, if you hold the Ctrl key when you click, you'll automatically keep attacking until the battle is over.

[InstructorBlade]
You can set this mode before battle with the [/nc] command.
*Note: I have no idea what he means by, "Go there with any side"*

Now then, let's go hunt a poring. Please kill a Poring around here and get a Jellopy.

-You received the quest, "First Combat", from Blade. Please check the quest information window.-

I'll have to get to the rest later. Too much horrible grammar to try and make sense of for one night. Please let me know what you think of these corrections. I feel they make a lot more sense than what is currently there.

Finding some typos and things with the Eden Group chef.

This whole part just sounds awkward:
Posted Image

Suggested Fix: Chef: What's Up? Hungry? Or do you have other business?
Your response choice: Order a meal/Talk

Also some general typos with the same NPC:

When you ask for "direction" on the courses, course B is listed twice. Though the second B option does lead to Course C description.

(Description of Course A) "It is also mixed with hcopped meats like sausages." *chopped
(Description of Course C) "I use the besk oak to smoke it" *best

Don't know if someone posted this already.

Errand man in Prontera 204,53 speaks gibberish. There were also some #$%&^ symbols in the quest window from the quest he gave. He also rewarded me with 5 unknown items, which went in the Item tab and look like apples.

Posted Image

I didn't think to take screenshots during the initial dialogue or during the quest, so I took one afterward if that still counts toward anything...

The Cupet Manager in Prontera said I could exchange items for taming items 3 times, but the Cupet Manager in Payon said I could do this only twice. Unsure if there is supposed to be a difference across towns.

His dialogue could be improved too, although it's not as disastrous as the Training Ground NPCs.

Said items are actually character bound battle manuals. The quest is supposed to be a helpful NPC giving 5 manuals for 100 jellopy quest, and also an example of the improved quest system with NPC icons/minimap location but I didn't think he was added because the quest didn't show up on the minimap like it does on kRO.

GMs should just assume that every other new npc has babelfish translations for dialogue and check them all. Taking screenshots of every instance of bad dialogue would take forever and I'm sure we would all rather test something else :x

Thief Quest NPC's also cryptic. Seems for all symbols like ' etc.

Edit:
Oh, and the Party Booking Window is also broken in text.
Even a Map is still shown cryptic :o

Another cryptic translation related to para-quests.

Posted Image

Not... exactly sure what point he was trying to make however outside that skeletons are undead. His text after you finish it is messy too, but the gist of it is that using skills like heal or ressurection hurt the undead. (NPC is under the textbox, outside payon's cave dungeon)

Posted Image

While general skill use is messy in the chatbox using the battle text, Mug is made even more confusing by it's choice of wording. Rather than saying you stole X amount of zeny, it basicly says the monster stole the amount off you. Not sure if it's relevant to the topic but it is a text/grammatical error.

I guess I'm being very VERY nitpicky over this, but I'll mention it anyhow.

Whenever damage is dealt on a monster, there's a space between the word damage and the period so it looks like:

[Zombie] received '272' damage .

Not as serious as some of the dialogue mess still out there, but just thought it would be nice to stay consistent, seeing that everything else doesn't have the space before the period.

EDIT: Just noticed we even get a message for dropping items on the floor now!

Posted Image

But yeah, wording could be fixed. It should read:

You dropped Animal Skin (1).

If switching word order is hard, maybe just replace the 1 ea with (1) (or whatever the number should be if dropped in bulk) so that it's consistent with the picking up message. And add a period at the end, just to follow with my original post. xD;

I don't know if it's been fixed yet, but I noticed some more when I was working on another character.

-Cool Event Staff NPC in training grounds (weird grammar):
"If there's no kafra around you, we would do it instead of them. We would working for special event around Alberta."
"We are working as role of network in Event. I hope that you can meet our staff in Alberta."
"It's for the future. We can meet later."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[EDIT]: these were added after the maintenance:

-Kafra NPC in training grounds after she explains the kafra services (minor typo):
"This is all for your never ending support. We are working hard to repay our dept to our customers."

-Minor typo, but "Instructor Brade" is still mispelled as "Intstructor Brade" when you're talking to him inside the training center.
[EDIT]: when you talk to him in the field, he says "The the 6 basic jobs are Swordman, Thief, Acolyte, Mage, Archer, and Merchant"

-Minor thing but Mage Guide NPC in training grounds says "However they cannot equip other weapons but staffs and books. Because they are too delicate to handle heavy weapons." Shouldn't it all be one sentence?

-In the list that appears when you ask the mage NPC in Prontera to change you to a first class job, Merchant is shown as "Marchant"

-The Swordsman Guildsman NPC in Izlude has weird grammer as well:
"Here is a Swordman Guild."
**
There's also some garbage text in the window when he says "Congratulations! From now on, you are going to live a Swordsman's life! Let's do it right now!" and when he asks you if you want to be a Swordman, one of the options "I'll consider it again" has some garbage text in it as well.

-Helpful Henry NPC in Prontera has a typo
"Oh if I don't have a quest for your level I will be silent in my dissapointment."

-On character select screen it says "charactor/total slot".

Posted Image

-Should say: "character/total slot"

-On Brade part, an info window pops up saying to double click for item info. It should say "right click for item info".

Posted Image

-Not a bug, but after talking with kafra/soldier/cool event corp in training grounds, you are not told to talk to chocolat again, but you are offered to teleport to town... I find it a bit misleading and it could make you miss the training ground battlepart.

More skill wording issue:

Posted Image

use [Fire Wall] skill.

into

Using [Fire Wall] skill.

Perhaps? As it shows up during casting time.

Seems to be the case for all ground targeting skills (although personally, I only got to test this on fire wall and thunderstorm so far).

No screenshot, but for Sight, I got:

To [Nimue] use [Sight] skill.

I also personally think that this may be a good time to fix the buff messages we've had in our Battle Message since pre-renewal, now that they show up in the General Message with renewal:

Clairene'sBlessing aligned.
Clairene'sYourSpeed has increased.
