^ Why even play and waste pretty much everyone's Saturday until it's for sure fixed? Making everyone VIP for 3 days won't fix anything, it's not even a viable way to repay people's lost time.

I wonder if the staff notice that, well, these DDOS attacks coincide the most with Saturday WoE? O_o If "having enough staff" is an issue for some reason, wouldn't you think it would be logical to *have* extra manpower during WoE times, since it seems the likelihood of DDOS occurring is higher/highest at these times?
But of course, I guess that's too much logic to be had, for RO =P

It's for everyone "Next Friday we will do a VIP event for everyone for the weekend, so lost play time shouldn't be a concern on this."

Well, VIP users do pay money... while non-VIP players don't... obviously if you were paying for a service that didn't get performed you'd want some kind of compensation, right? Sorry, but all non-VIPs can really ask for is the same thing the VIPs are asking for - all of this crap to be fixed!

When did you try to Login again: 8:25pm pacific
What error message popped up: Rejected from server (.29), Failed to connect to server
At what stage of the login process did the error happen, IE Between login-server select, between server select-character select character select-loading map: Attempting to connect after inputting password
Did you get DCed: Yes

3 Days of VIP is practically nothing... it's like 70 cents. Compared to more than an hour downtime of the most important event in the game. I really hope whatever event they have planned is worth it.
