Although no mention of this was put in the patch notes (Not that i could see anyways?) this NPC can be found at the top corner of Eden first floor in the shape of a mimic, if you dont already know what it does let me explain...

This NPC will accept upgraded gears from +6~+9 and will give certs based on the level of refine, the certs given will also match the type of gear that is traded in eg:
Armor=BodyCerts
Headgear=HeadCerts
WeaponLv3/Lv4=WeaponCerts

The amount of certs given per refine are as follows:
+6= 1Cert or 10Elu/Ori
+7= 2Cert or 1Cert
+8= 3Cert or 2Cert
+9= 5Cert or 3Cert
As of the 09/03/2012 the amount of certs given are as follows:
+7= 1cert or 10elu/ori
+8= 2cert or 1cert
+9= 5cert or 2cert

So have fun getting certs, and yes NPC armors etc can be used too turn in for certs.

Elu/Ori might be worth something again too. I quite like this. They're actually giving us reason to work for something valuable in game instead of just handing it over through the cash shop.

So upgraded trash gear may be worth something now? People could sell a +6 "insert bad item" at the price of a cert. :0

more logically, use the machine theirselves and sell the cert :)

only to weapons, which give wep certs which sell for much less than say body certs.. but yeah.

In a way, this allows you to pay KP for safe certs. Just use enriched to upgrade a bunch of stuff (even works from +1 to +4 if you're low on regular ores). Wow, I hope this is permanent.

Very nice idea but it would be nice if this didn't work on NPC bought gears. That would create a demand for gears dropped by monsters.

It's not worth it unless u take them to 7 where u are guaranteed at least one cert. But It often fails using enriched to get to 7. You may as well sell the enriched boxes u use and buy certs.
