Since i was bored i put together small tool what could help people to find out (and maybe fix) commonly reported issues.

Download link: rosena-fix-v1.2.exe [62kb, MD5: 1035ca0cb410cf2a3d0e7426a507b860]

NOTE: since its first version, it may have bugs, please report them :)

After running this tool it will ask what to check (default is everything):

You have to specify your Rose installation directory (it tries to auto detect it whether possible):

After path is selected it will check system and also rose configuration files for common problems:

If any problem are found it will notify and try offer possible fixes.

V1.2
* Cleaned up error/debug messages
* Checks rose and clanmark folder for right permissions
* Offers reset of ignore list
* Enabled requirement of administrative rights (needed for certain file checks :( )

V1.1
* Improved out of range (invisible) dialogs windows detection
* Offers to reconfigure game in case of totally wrong graphic configuration
* Removed requirement of administrative rights (not needed for this tool)

Tool does check following things:
* Processor speed, memory, video card and disk space (will warn)
* Detects non configured video card (if no driver!) (will warn)
* Screen resolution in game config compared to user monitor (will warn)
* Check for blocked whispers, party/trade/ride/friend requests, ingame messages (will offer fix)
* Check for disabled sound or 0 volume (will offer fix)
* Offers possibility to reset dialogs in game (in case party/trade/etc bars/windows are not visible)

Todo:
Various checks for corrupted data files (VFS)
Registry checks
Firewall checks for remote ports
Possible bugfixes ;)

Any feedbacks and suggestions are welcome

I had discussion with Genesis about this, he said it will be added to launcher itself :)

It does check physical RAM amount right now already, for free ram for game i need some time to think, assuming "enough" ram amount is not that simple ;)

Anything else what could be added?

Thank you for this. It helped me find out what was wrong with why it would not let me play (ex: I loaded the game and selected my charecter (ive played this for 5 years) and when i selected the charecter i wanted it would load but within 5 seconds my pc would randomly reboot itself and the results on this scanner showed i needed 64 mb more of graphic card) This pc does not have a graphic card in it yet it lets me play diable and such but is there any suggestion on how to fix the problem?
(P.S. When i recovered the pc from the reboot it would say "seriouse error", any idea on if its the graphic problem or the pc itslef?)

I know this is pretty late, but it's likely a false positive. Many antiviruses will report things that are potentially viruses without actually detecting a known virus signature. The scanning helps protect the computer from programs that might harm the computer; however, it can also detect potentially fine programs. I know Norton is infamous for this sort of behavior. I've had several programs I've had to simple add to an exclusion list because norton wouldn't allow me to use them otherwise. I wouldn't be surprised if the various checks that this program does when looking for possible errors with the game caused some scanners to flag it as suspicious.
