The Eden group is an incredibly cool feature, as it gives a lot of direction to new players that previously lacked direction when starting RO. However, I do think there are some gaps in what the quests do, so I figured I'd share some ideas.

1) Remove the cooldown time from the 11 ~ 25 quests. None of the other quests have cooldowns, so it would make sense to allow repeated usage. If you want to force players to go to different areas, consider decreasing the delay time to say, 1-2 hours.

2) Consider adjusting the level range on the 11 ~ 25 quests down to 6 ~ 25. There's an obvious void between training grounds and the availability of the eden quests where a new player has no direction. Lowering the requirement would help bridge this gap.

3) The level 26 ~ 40 quests give novice reds, but give a very poor amount of experience. The experience given is actually considerably lower than almost all 11~25 quests. This is kind of a strange contradiction, because I think that the lower quests would be more in need of healing provisions than the higher one, where the higher one should give more exp. In my opinion, the 11~25 quests should be upgraded to give novice reds, and the 26~40 quests upgraded to give more exp.

4) Other than the 11 ~ 25 quests, you have to turn-in your quests at NPCs in town. Consider updating the quest descriptions to give a better idea where the NPC is. Saying an NPC is simply 'In Payon' could result in a 15 minute headhunt for an NPC.

5) The 71 ~ 85 quest board has a quest that sends you to various localized maps to kill monsters. However, this quest is quite useless because many of the localized maps have lengthy quests in order to access. I'm talking about you, Moscovia. Oh, also there is one that asks you to hunt Leaf Cats that has a similar problem. Consider allowing the quest NPC to warp you to each of the dungeons while you are doing the quest.

6) Perhaps try to convince Korea to give us the second set of eden group equipment quests early. -_-

^All good ideas. Another thing I would recommend is to have the quests give character bound potions upon completion.

5) God forbid people decide to do access quests to get to level appropriate dungeons, right?

Which reminds me, was the moscovia access quest modified to use monsters that are still level appropriate?

The quest NPC in Alberta who directs you to Moscovia gives 10 Strange Steel Pieces at the same time he gives you the quests. Everything else for the first set of items are dropped by Metalings, which should be within your range by the point you start this quest (although finding 10 Rusty Screws from them could take a while... I ended up killing Teddy Bears, which are actually around the same level as Zipper Bears >.> ). Haven't tested the 2nd set of items yet nor the monsters on the ship, but I'm hoping to go check that later today.

5) Another quest asks you to go hunt Miyabi Dolls, which are in the Tatami Maze. Not sure if this would be as much of a problem since there are no item reqs and you basically just run around the Amatsu maps to finish the entrance quest.

I just don't think anyone will ever do those quests, when their easier counterparts give the same exp with a fraction of the running around, if it isn't made easier for players.

They need to lower or eliminate the cool down for the lower level quests and give some quests for the below level 11 people. The Eden quests should give more exp, maybe make it similar to the current req system. exp reward = monster exp * number killed.

Since the Eden quests stop at 85, there should be a series of reqs for 85-150.

well..i've found that if you do all the "quests" given by the various class NPCs there you get automatic 10/10. so you just need to do a few kills before you are 11.

Thief, Merchant, Swordsman, Mage all give a VERY easy quest that gives exactly one level each

Fixing the level 71-85 bug would be nice. Also, make a way to cancel quests. If you get bored of a quest or it is too hard you shouldnt be stuck with it and forever banned from other quests.

It is also impossible to kill Marionettes in the lvl 55-70 section. They are Ghost Ele and have a too high lvl
This should be mentioned too.

I stopped using Eden group after 40 because the 26~40 quests gave like 5% exp. I didn't know the 41+ ones were better, haha. Too late now though, as I am 82 and I am not doing quests like Moscovia's.

I think Heim said someplace that once Renewal is stable on all servers they're gonna make some pre 11 quests to bridge the gap.

That's right, I forgot about that. Marionettes used to be in the ~65 range until geffen 3f was re-leveled to be a 90+ zone. Marionette turn-in was replaced by a different quest, but I forget exactly what.

Another strange issue, the 55-70 quests are grouped as 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, but two of the three groups only have 4, not 5 quests.

So you say there is no limit on the later quests...how do I "finish" the run around and kill stuff quests for level 71+? I try taking the mission again but it tells me I can't.

in iRO the lvl 71+ quests are limited to once only. Dunno why.

As you can probably infer, they are repeatable on kRO or at least I think they are. Didn't test the quests much since I don't know korean but I am pretty sure they are else I can't imagine why Doddler would want to level in Alderbaran on kRO in that range.

These are nice little quests, my only real problem with them right now is that they give only a little bit of exp. You get more exp hunting the monsters or items for them than you do when you go to report the mission.

That's only in the first 35~40 range after that they give a LOT. Zenorc one (55) gives like 50%.

I don't know, the 55-70 ones never seemed to give me more than 25%.

If you spend some time doing the different job quests given to you by the job masters in the training grounds you'll easily make it to level 11, allowing you to begin working for Eden as soon as you choose a job and get out. I've heard a lot of people complain about only getting to level 5-7 before ending the training. I'm pretty sure this is because people are rushing to get out asap. The quest board starting at level 11 is appropriate and should stay the way it is.

EDIT: Sorry, I just realized how old this thread is. :(

I have five things to say, I'm a TRO user before, and I've been to lvs 150s...
1) In the beginning stage(Novice), the 3 manual skills quests should be abandoned, cuz it is rather useless.. for, instance, a thief having magician skills.
2) the eden should have a NPC that will direct you to the quest/monsters place, as TRO had done.
3) from lvs55-70 should include savage mane's collecting quest, to boost the players exp even more, as the TRO had it already,,
4) after lv85, there should be a map containing stone porings, to gather the players around and,/therefore it will help players to know each other more, and to gain exp by partying><
5)Double exp events should be in every weekend, as the TRO had long time ago><
