If i have equip that reduce after attack delay, is it the same as adding aspd itself ?

The epoch is 193, at which you attack 7 attacks per seconds.
Your after attack delay is essentially what you are missing to get to 193.
If you have 180 ASPD, you still have a delay after each attack represented by that 13 ASPD you could still get.
Hypothetically if you had 180 ASPD and you had an item that said attack speed +20% or Reduces after attack delay by 20%, in both instances what they mean is that 13 missing attack speed is reduced by 20%... so 13 * 0.8 = 10.4 So your new delay is 10.4 instead of 13-- your ASPD is now 182.6 (which shows up in the window as just 182).
Does that make sense?

This is not how I understand it to work.
The delay is the time between swings, measured in 50th's of a second, while ASPD =200-delay.
So at 193 aspd, you have a delay of 7 (and that's the minimum swing delay the game allows).
Hence, if you're at 150 aspd (with no aspd modifying effects active), and use a +20% aspd effect like zerk pot, you'd go to 160 aspd (50 swing delay -20% = 40 swing delay -> 160 aspd).
The way you did it would give (43 swing delay - 20% = ~35 swing delay), 193-35 = 158 aspd.
So it's straightforward to figure out which one of us is right.

that was a really good explanation thank you, i was wondering how that worked.

Theoretically Jaye does that mean you don't actually have to invest into AGI, if at all, and can still attain 193 ASPD simply by stacking up % gear modifiers to ASPD, similar to V.Casting Time with % gear modifiers?

base 1 agi chars can achieve 193 aspd, so...

Correct. Try it on my beta calc.

Those Temporal Boot enchants, the ones that give -10% delay after attack, is the same kind of boost you would get by equipping a Doppelganger card, which gives +10% attackspeed. Temporal anything boots with aspd enchant will be the same as having a Doppelganger MvP card on your feet. It's just worded differently.

Worth noting that from the formula I studied on iWiki to make my calc, the target number that % effects are based off of appears to be 195, not 200. But potion aspd is based off 200. Its weird. It appears to multiply the number higher rather than decrease the delay lower, too.
$aspd_modifiers - AKA - speed potions, skills
$aspd_dex_int_weighted = $agi * 9.999 + $dex * 0.19212; --- seems awfully arbitrary but hey.
$aspd_base_middle = $job_based_aspd + $shield_penalty - $aspd_correction + sqrt($aspd_dex_int_weighted) * $aspd_penalty; --- its pretty much start with like 151 aspd from your job, subtract like 5 for a shield, add on some aspd based on your int/dex. Ignore the aspd penalty and aspd correction, those are just small modifiers to that int/dex based aspd, related to your job, and more heavily weighting agi.
$aspd_base = 200 - (200 - $aspd_base_middle) * $aspd_modifiers; -- basically, find what delay you have left from 200 (i.e. 170 aspd is 200-170=30, so 30 delay.) then reduce that delay by a % based on potions/skills.
$aspd_equip_percent = (195 - $aspd_base) * ($multiply_aspd_from_equipment / 100) -- You take that delay, so you had 20 delay left after potions/skills reduces your delay from 30 to 20. You subtracted that from 200 to get 180. You then do 195 - 180. Then if 30% aspd gear, find 0.3 of that, so 15*0.3 = 4 more aspd added. More aspd would have been added if it started form 200 rather than 195 (it would have been 6, as 20*0.3=6).
