So I understand that it makes the armor undead property. What kind of applications does this have? What kind of attacks would this negate? Would it be useful in nameless? If so, how so?

it makes you immune to freeze and stone curse status.
you take zero damage from shadow and poison property attacks.

It also means you take extra damage from heal and extra damage from holy/fire attacks.

No it is not useful in nameless.

This would negate things like monsters turning you into undead element, reducing undead element attack damage, preventing poison and such. I think it also prevents stone curse, I think?

Edit: Basically everything Xellie said.. xD

Oh whaat. That's dumb :|

I always used it for those pesky monsters back then. I haven't really used it in renewal at all for monsters that turned you undead, but that's a bit of a silly change to make. The card would've been more useful then. :p_sick:

actually poison and dark will heal you or did it changed on renewal? it is usefull in nameless so that banshees will miss that magica atack, that is the highest threat there, but you can juse use bathory its the same thing, ed its also usefull for stalkers to copy aspercio, tu, me and stuff like that

Only problem with copying some of the priest spells is you have to survive them first. No point if you get killed in the process of a priest nuking you with it.

Maybe on reqieum, on RO, no.

I remember undead also protecting you from coma and maybe bleeding? Could be wrong, it's been a while.

No it never changed and they never healed you.

In RO you can completely negate damage from elements, but you can't absorb damage to heal yourself.

No priest skill should kill you with full demi reducts on.

Even TU is reduced by demi reducts

So SinXes with Evil Druid would treat a Poison Bottle as a potion, in addition to receiving the AtkSpd buff?

Would this also extend to the other unique poisons?

No, you still get poisoned if you do it that way. The poison you receive isn't an attack, it's a status.

Well, derp.
I suppose I thought that the HP reduction from the status was treated as poison-type damage.

At least now I know. :p_smile:

The player character remains neutral property still I think, your armor just becomes undead.

Xellie already stated everything, but I'll repeat it for emphasis. With Evil Druid Carded armor:

You are immune to Frozen and Stone Curse Status effects
You take ZERO damage from Shadow, Poison, and Undead Property Attacks. You take additional damage from Holy and Fire property attacks.

You are for all intents and purposes a Demi-Human Race Undead Property monster when you wear an armor with this card. That means:
Heal will damage you.
You cannot receive the Aspersio buff.
You cannot be resurrected.
In PvP environments Resurrection level 4 has a chance to kill you in one shot regardless of your reductions. Turn Undead is the same.

As others have pointed out, even if you could somehow take -125% damage from any particular element, it won't heal you, it will just miss you. It works the same for monsters. If you attack a level 4 Shadow property monster with a shadow property attack, it won't get healed, it just won't deal damage.

Ive seen that to be true in pvp. Reductions didnt apply when tu was cast,

No... Haven't you played RO since like, 2007? It changes your element from neutral 1 to undead 1, just like how a pasana card changes your element from neutral 1 to fire 1. Players in RO are always demi-human race, they can't change race.

You cannot be resurrected.

You can be resurrected by tokens or death valley.

I was referencing the priest skill resurrection, which is the most common means of resurrecting players that have died. Up until your post, I had never even heard of the Valley of Death skill.

Death Valley? It's a common Wanderer/Maestro skill ._.

It can resurrect regardless of the circumstance. Well maybe not someone in Hell's Power status... but it does ignore Evil Druid card as it's not exactly a "Holy Type" resurrection.
