So, let me say that I know on the old boards there were a lot of posts about the Clerics having to have more experience to make a level than other classes (This is true I know because I have a Cleric that is the same level as my husbands Soldier and I have to get a lot more experience than he does to make the next level) as well as the fact that in a party a cleric gets less experience per kill (Also true) as the rest of the classes. Also, since the update a few weeks ago, the Artisans get experience for crafting, yet Clerics still get the crappy end of the stick when we buff, revive, set bons down and in general support the other classes in or out of a party. So why can't we get at least a small amount of experience for buffing, reviving, and laying bons? At least that would make up a little bit for the rate and amount of experince for Clerics.

Because clerics could make a macro to spam buffs while they sleep and level up free, whereas crafting require mats and whatnot

It could work with heals, but only if the heal actually heals something. Like 0,5 exp for each point of HP a healing spell heals on the target.

As example:

Mrs. Cleric heals Mr. Champ.
Mr Champ has a max HP of 25000. Mr. Champ takes 2000 damage for whatever reason. Mrs. Cleric has a healing spell which heals for a total of 8000 and uses it on Mr. Champ.
However this heal actually only heals 2000 and the other 6000 is over heal. Mrs. Cleric receives 1000 exp for her efforts.

Flyff Online used to have this, and yes, everyone took advantage of it... They had an "Exp" system in which you needed to kill monsters to fill the bar, then use your pexp to lvl your skills... the higher the skill got, the less pexp it used... so we all used the nickel trick and just stuck it in our FKey...

I had max buffs soon as I turned Ring Master... Then guess what? They decided it was a horrible idea and reset everyone and changed it to points... so unless they can find a nice / non-spammable method, I doubt it would happen...

I like the idea Pickup has. As far as crafting not being done with macros...I remember reading something about people doing that with the buff pots on the old boards somewhere.

Unfortunately even with pickup's method, if you find a place secluded enough a knight with taunt and a cleric, can both be macro'd to auto heal and auto get mobs to constantly drain hp to help level the cleric...

People can always find a way to take advantage of any situation. That doesn't mean it should not be implemented or considered. And instead of figure out all the ways it can be abused how about figuring out a way to implement it so it won't be abused. I think it is a good idea....or let clerics receive the same amount of exp in fighting monsters as all other classes and all classes need the same amount of exp to level to next level. Seems only fair.

Lol yes, the sensible choice. I also liked pickup's idea, still exploitable but no more than a champ macroing aoes in a crowded area. Really obvious and a bit of a pain

lol even if you could use a macro to craft the macro would fail because as you go to craft u need to add mats into the crafting menu.

I wish they would just give us equal experience and only have to get the same amount of experience as the other classes. It would be the most simple solution and fair.
