Server Status Guide

Hello old and new Roserians,
Since there are too many that are trying to find out the server status during maintenances or even emergency maintenances, i decided to create a small guide with the most known server status pages. So here we are:

This is one of the first server status websites. Its kinda old but still functional.

This integrated server checker is different than the others since it has availability percentage measurements for each server part.
Sometimes server parts can go on and off for some time, because of that some checkers will report that server parts are offline which isnt true whereas GenPatch will give you an availability percentage number.

Log In and Maintenance Info

The maintenance is scheduled each Thursday at 1 pm PST with an official time frame of 4 hours. It usually takes around 2hours. Of course every time it varies depending on what the Gm Team is planning to do during every maintenance.
* Here is a GMT map and a GMT converter to identify the maintenance time in your time zone. Remember PST=GMT-8 *

Keep in mind that the Log In procedure consists of several parts and each one of them needs to be Online or the log in will simply fail. That explains the additional info that can be found in the Server Status Checkers.

Additionally, after the installation of a new patch, stability problems might appear. It has happened many times before so this is a warning to not start doing important things directly after maintenance as there might be a rollback or a server shut down.
Emergency Maintenance Info:

From time to time, because of a faulty patch or because of the acts of RoseNA enemies the server can become unstable. In both cases the Gm Team will make an in game announcement regarding the start of Emergency Maintenance and the server will shut down shortly. These maintenances arent planned and can happen any time. Fixing time estimation will probably not be given but usually they are short. The downtime varies depending on the size of the problem and a patch might follow after an emergency maintenance. One thing that you might expect is a pinned thread at the top of the Community Chat created by a member of staff or even a normal thread by an ancient member of the community explaining the situation. Questions and comments can be placed there and updates from the member of staff might follow.
Do not create a forum account to ask the estimated downtime at all cost. All you have to do is use one of the status checkers and tell when the server will come online.

Connectivity Guide

Status Checkers report that everything is fine but I still have connectivity problems.

If the Server Status Checkers report that everything is working but you still cant connect or having serious lag and d/c then you might want to check your connection between your home and the RoseNA server. If your ms is over 300 then it will be becoming unplayable. If the ping responses time out(stars will appear) then you have no connection between your pc and the RoseNA server.

• One classic and simple way to do this is by running the Windows CMD and type this command: tracert www.roseonlinegame.com

You might want to compare your ping ms results with one of those servers that might be close to your country --> Click Me

• For the tech geeks there are more sophisticated tools like pt360.

The suite has utilities to create continuously graphical pings and tracerts that will give a better idea of the connectivity and more info. You ll have to register in order to get the freeware license but its fast.

Note that ROSE has many IP ranges blocked. Mostly in China and Singapure and less in other countries. You can know if you are banned or not if you cannot reach roseonlingame.com @ 128.241.92.35 as it can be seen at the previous tracert pic.

I will keep this thread fully updated for any changes or additions. The authors of the site/utilities are welcome to pm me for anything they want me to add/adjust. Hopefully I wont see anymore new threads during maintenances asking about server status

genpatch in my signiture

I did the update and when i try to connect it just says server is loading. then exits out saying servers are temporarly unavailable. so i let it be and checked again the next day and still says that. i was able to play once after the update but when i got off i couldnt play again anymore. 

Might want to make sure you don't have a fire wall or anti virus blocking ROSE from running/patching.

When I log into the game, it says that the server is currently unavailable and to check the forums/website or to try again later.
I took off my firewall and shut down my anti-virus, yet the game is still not working.
This is my second day trying to log in.
Is the server still under maintenance or is it just not letting me play?

The servers are still under maintenance so it's not just you. Keep watching the forum and RoseOnline's FaceBook's page https://www.facebook...playrose?ref=hl

for updates on when the servers will be back up. Hopefully we can all play again soon

why is it always sever currently unavailable?? eversince that update i cant connect anymore? pls i need answers can you help me?

 

 

 

The update seems to have caused some serious bugs in the game. Now the servers are unstable. The staff at Gravity are working like crazy to get all the servers stabilized. Please be patient, they are trying their best. You can read more about it here. http://forums.warppo...-system-update/.

I am disconnecting every 1-8 minutes. I am taken back to the log in screen, where I am able to re-log instantly. I am only having this issue with ROSE, so I don't believe this has anything to do with my internet connection. I ran the CMD prompt, but I don't know what it means. Please help me because I really want to play. This is mainly happening on the Leonis server.
