You don't seem to understand the full extent of how powerful that actually is. Keeping an enemies SP reduced to 0 means that they cannot attack you by any other means than auto attacking.


well except with 50 atk power and no modifier or aspd bonus, you're not killing anything, do you know how stacked people are in woe and how they can just use seed and kill you?

Its not meant for killing it is a disabling equip that you swap to when you want your opponent to be at a disadvantage. Also players do not have infinite seeds and the players that do use seeds it would be foolish to use this against them. Rather use it against the players who do not use seeds.

make a novice char and put all of your garbage there then delete it.

Uhm... can you add like a reboxter? I have 5 sakkats, and multiples of the other east/west gocash items that i can't get rid of (NPCing won't work, yes I tried)

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the client settings?? I'm unable to get to the login screen because the client settings window pops up and WILL NOT LEAVE when I click OK. Similar issues anyone??

OMFG ITS LIKE A POPUP THAT WON'T LEAVE!!! I literally have to open my windows task manager and close the ragexe.exe to get rid of the damn thing

KVM spear.

After the patch it does not give the bonus damage on demihumans. Tested in Biolab/NIffleheim(bloody murderer). Damage is the same on Demihumans as it is on any other race (Hundred Spears, Bash, Ctrl+Click. DONT mention Dragon breath, it is unaffected by racial modifiers).

And yes I have read the patch notes and WoE update patch notes. Not a string about nerfing kvm to make people look at vellums. The only reasonable explanation I can concoct at the moment is that kvm effect only works in woe/pvp environment, so ppl dont go and exterminate everything at Biolab solo like a boss while being lvl 118 and under (like me :heh:).

I do hope it is a bug and is NOT intended. Oh wait, ofc Gravity/WPortal hve already done such harsh nerfs in the past, and not just one or two times.So not a big deal to them at all. Please, advice on the issue.

it does say in woe and pvp specifically so it may not work for pvm sorry didnt see it was a kvm spear thought it was vellum for some reason

Yes, I believe it does for Vellums.
KVM weapons do not mention "woe/pvp only".

Also, even if it is still viable in pvpp/woe, pvm nerf made it lose a lot of charm :-(.

I hope to god it is. Knowing Gravity and their, umm....retarded eccentric views on how it should be played/balanced I cant help but think I was correct in my previous thesis (work only at woe).

The damage is also pretty impressive too.

What alot of the damage via HP/SP weapons do is they make your stats irrelevant, and it is more about how many times you can hit that other guy, it just does % of damage. More HP = they lose more HP per hit. Supposedly this worked well in Korea, though I have a gut reaction to it.

means sin with a fast attack could lock a caster down in a few seconds making them unable to get away.

And yes the KVM and BG will only have their effects vs players, with this update players are no longer "demi-human" they are a new "race" of players.

This means things like Hydra/thara etc needed to be updated to work on both demi human and player races (and they were) but KVM and BG were not. We can discuss this for a future patch, but looking at what the gears are for I think it makes sense to at least put them in PVP only items.

Wow Since I don't do WoE or PvP. I don't think that I should get my KVM weapon.

Idk about others, I consider this to be quite rude (and crude) stealth nerf/fix.

Why did you think this was needed? It'd be terrible if people put a non-WoE or PvP-related effort into getting good gear after all.

Crit GXes lost an amazing the best Crit-specific Katar, Battle Priests (yes they exist)/anyone else using the KVM mace for ASPD attacking loses that, Hundred Spears users have to settle on a vastly inferior weapon even when the target isn't demi-human, etc. Not like HS is particularly good anyway. I'm sure there's more I didn't list.

I wanted to get the Glorious Morning Star in the future for my battle Priest. I now have zero reason to. I feel bad for any non-WoEing/non-PvPing characters that use a KVM item, because they got jipped massively and they won't be compensated.

Dude they just lost the Demi-human bonus. The ASPD bonus of some KVM is still there. You still can make an Battle Priest. And will be the same unless you fight vs Demi-Human mobs in that case you will deal less damage.

They will only have their effects vs players.

I believe I am reading that correct and "their effect" refers to any bonuses they give.

I think the only thing they changed was player's "Player", and the "Demi human" bonus on kvms to "Player"

I believe I am reading that correct and "their effect" refers to any bonuses they give.

Is that were the case my Glorius Suit should'nt give me the HP bonus. For what I understand they will only remove the Demi-Human % Bonus and change it for Player % Bonus. Any stats and other stuff that KVM and BG Gear give will not change.
