Well Xelloss is unique in the Mazoku heirarchy so it's really hard to actually measure him up against others without seeing a direct battle. Luna seems able to defeat high level shinzoku easily (which would probably be looking at something around Valgaav's level.) but She's friendly with the greater beast (Zelas Metallium), but they should be enemies! So I'm pretty sure that Luna > Xelloss.
Xelloss is my favourite though.... Can you tell? :>

If by Shinzoku, you mean Dragon-class... as far as I heard/read, she can beat one with a kitchen knife? lol...
I wonder if Luna can use Lord of Nightmare's spells...

Well, Drag Slave borrows Shabranigdu's power... so if she can use holy magic same as dragons, she could be able to cut a drag slave in half... then again, it will depend what kind of Shinzoku she's borrowing the power from... Ceifeed perhaps?

thats why she chose lina as a better candidate to save the world, being able to use chaos words... Chaos magic that draws directly from LoN and to combine the power of ceipheed and shabranigdu (filia+Xelloss), she can do things that Luna can't, despite luna being "stronger"

I kinda don't get why people wanna play classic so much, isin't classic like a dead server? since it'll get no more updates? Does it have eden in it? for the gear and buffs? mainly the buffs.

Because it's pleasant to play classic. Poker and Go Fish are both card games, and some just prefer the other more than the another, even if in the first glance they both look the same.
I dunno if it'll be completely dead. There's the possibility that newer updates will be translated to classic, or we'll have different sorts of events and stuff. Or then it will just stay the same. Then again, people are capable of continuously playing poker for years before getting bored of it, so I'd say updates are always not necessary.

Zeref is the strongest and oldest wizard in the anime Fairy Tail, so it's probably just the name.
Also, people play Classic because it is classic. Either for nostalgia, a fresh start, or because they dislike renewal. Some people even play two servers! It's far from being a dead server, and the population will jump again when WoE and/ or some of the newer content is introduced. I'm personally stoked for Ayotaya, Labs, and Rachel (a town named after me!). It does have Eden, to answer your question Siveria, but it's not the same as on Renewal servers. So no buffs or quests.
