Hello there folks. This maintenance we will be updating the sealed box system. There will be the following changes to the system:

-While equipping with the sealed box extractor, a new October sealed box will begin dropping.

-The NPC that takes in the sealed boxes and keys in exchange for a gold or silver box will only be accepting the new October boxes

-If you have already turned your previous sealed boxes into gold and silver boxes the contents of those will not be changed. After maintenance the old sealed boxes will not give silver keys.

-We will likely be changing the boxes up month by month with new items!

So the old sealed boxes will now only be silver key fodder?

Good to know. Keeps new box prices healthy and current.

how do you get the sealed box extractor? i havent logged onto classic in a while

Talk to the lady that turns your sealed box/key into the gold/silver box that contains the item. If your character doesnt have one on them, she will give it to you before changing any of your boxes.

You then double click that, and equip. Set to go!

Edit: She only gives you it if you have already used a magic stone.

Anyone who didnt trade in the old sealed boxes will just have to open them up and hope they get a silver key.

Nice.

So glad I didn't farm them for the next box event. I was really thinking about it.

The list will be up soon, but the Summer Sports Festa Headgears will be making an appearance on Classic with new effects.

Much of the food creation items have been removed and there will be more useful consumables within the Silver and Gold boxes.

Thats nice, I have a thousand + in storage from pre-re when I bought them all off the market the first time they hit the kafra shop... to make myself stun immune.

They're not new tho. They've been arounda very very very long time, you just prob didn't know people had them.

Wish i'd sold em all off when we had that event where you could boxter them. Woulda been more useful and valuable than any other use of them.

And, the reason people didn't know that we had them is that they, in most situations, aren't very useful...

Going low vit is supposed to leave you useless in stun in pre-trans WoE. That's my problem.

Damn, I thought you are going to remove sealed boxes, I stocked up around 200 to resell it. So what can you get from the old boxes?

No, it massively helps mid-vit characters who are also using stalactic golem cards.
