Since they have the HP/SP limitation and 80 stat cap, what class would go best for baby class? I'd imagine a class that relies mostly on high flee would be least effected by it since they don't need hp either way.

And since you can't trascend, which 3rd class is best for babies?

I guess for player vs monster and may even MVP. What baby class would be be best? The stat reductions and lack of trans will affect some classes, like the knight line for example.

No baby character is appropriate for any purpose other than looking cute. Their stats are gimped sufficiently that they can't be effective in any arena of gameplay.

As such, merchant and SN classes are most appropriate, because they're what you will use to vend, and vending is the most practical application for looking cute.

I believe Baby Expanded Super Novice is also possible to create so you can tease "harass" players while looking cute with Ice Wall! On the other hand you could make a video of casting Water Ball while looking cute and renaming it the spit cycle!

Shadow Chaser, Rune Knight, Royal Guard, or Sura are the only 4 I would go with if you want to use them for something other than just "looking cute", such as in WoE. Speaking of which, for WoE maybe a baby Mechanic would be able to kill with suicide destruction, but I don't know. and I wouldn't want to waste my time making a 150 baby mech to test it and find out.

Every other class, especailly mages, would just get splattered way too quickly.

Revit sura is a good idea, yeah. Could also justify making an AB slave.

How would RK be functional in WoE with the gimped stats, and low hp/sp (hence, low DB damage)?
Note that enchant blade is self only now :-/

There are lots of ways those classes can be useful, and that includes RK. Especially so with the new WoE armors and Bellum weapons.

Now granted, a baby RK's Dragon Breath won't be terribly useful, but Dragon Breath is not the only skill possessed by a Rune Knight. <-- Big hint there.

i think it's pointless to make a baby char just for woe.
i switched to SD baby every 5mins in woe, it was fun enough.

Spoiler

i recommend mado babys! they don't need trans skills and i enjoyed solo leveling mine (first 150 baby on ymir).

edit: stats arent a problem either, 3rd classes can go up to 108 of a stat, that's more than enough.

How about Guillotine Cross? Will it be missing out on anything from skipping on Assassin Cross?

Royal Guard is the other possibility. I was interested in making a shield skills RG with sacrifice. Because of the unforgiving nature of the game when it comes to builds, I didn't want to make anything until I was absolutely sure what build to go with.

Ah, mados? I guess I'll look it up.

Sacrifice is worthless with the gimped max HP. You need to be able to live when the person you're sac'ing gets gfisted. That's not going to happen with baby char hp.

GX misses out on EDP if they skip trans; EDP is kind of a big deal...

Generally speaking, both in RO and real life (though for very different reasons), children should not be fighting in wars.

Uh, well, not to dis your kid - but damage of suicidal destruction is dependent on SP, HP, AND Vit.

[{(Skill Level + 1) x (Remodel Mainframe Skill Level + 8 ) x (SP Used + Caster’s VIT)} x

Caster’s Base Level / 100] + (Caster’s Current HP)

Which simplifies to (assuming max level of char and all relevant skills)

72*(MaxSP + Vit)+CurHP

So an adult suicide bomber would be considerably more effective than your kid in WoE, particularly against high hp classes, and particularly with the new WoE sets (due to the higher damage reduction possible).

Suicide ignores all reductions though (except GR), so the new woe sets mean nothing to SD.

SD already does a retarded amount of damage, something like 150k damage without anything special. So even reducing that by half (maybe a bit extreme) as a baby mech, you'll still kill basically all the same people you were before.

If Royal Guard, then what build is reccomended?

I guess perhaps between Royal Guard and Priest then? But I don't know about Priest, I want something that will level past the 99 point like quickly. I guess Asura?

Sura is probably the worst choice. Not even because of the lack of hp/sp, but because of the lack of zen. If you want to actually use it, AB might be your best bet. KE > assump, and you can get sacrament/party buffs still as AB.

Suras make for decent babies (and level quickly early on), but having no Zen is a pain in the ass.

yea of course, but i didn't make the baby for woe, never had problem killing people with SD anyway.

baby mado 150 was a way lot more useful than my 150 axe mech adult too with FAWs and crap lol

ps:
the only disadvantage of a mado baby is that you cant use trans skills after you SDed or died, in case youget ressed/token. you can't use them in suit anyway!

Doesn't matter. SD can kill almost anything with the absurd amount of damage it can do. You need to be a Swordy class with a -_-load of HP and GR to barely survive it if you get hit. Baby gimped stats or not, I wouldn't want an SD exploding on my face any time of the day.

If you do make priest baby, Don't be surprised you have like 1.3k sp when you turn into a 99 AB
So yeah, max out that sp recovery. You will need it (along with arc angeling and other sp boosting stuff)

Make a baby ranger. You won't lose anything except HP and SP, but who cares? You will have arrow storm, and SP-enchanted white wing pieces.

Or maybe a baby maestro or wanderer too. They don't get anything decent as trans... except marionette. Nevermind. Unlike a ranger, you can't enhance SP easily. And rainstorm is... heavy.
