Looking at the expanded Super Novice irowiki page piqued my interest in the class, particularly the magic variant. I have no clue how they work, however. Is this skill build alright? Can they even hold their own whatsoever in WoE? Basically, what I'm planning to do is to roam around with Stalk, sneak up to someone and either cast Stone Curse or Frost Diver, then finish with a Fire Bolt or Jupitel Thunder, respectively. Ffffff I wish I had a censor eraser! So I guess magic isn't the best type anymore... I wish I could fire off all the snazzy instant cast spells and stuff like SNs were able to do in pre-renewal. Hmm, I'll try to figure out exactly what you're up to, haha.

I have found that tons of super novices keep their builds secret, mine is not, not at all, but neither is it perfected so,...errr
And actually, caster novices aren't particularly useless, they level faster versus their Melee counterparts due to the amount of parties they can. Go into. The idea of casting frost diver and stone curse is something Melee novices due as well, and with stealth that's another Melee thing...

Right, the privilege to inflict status effects is actually really cool. I might try that with a melee build to annoy people or something.

I always looked up to scept's SN ever since I was a noob, and now I'm taking the chance to also make one xd I dunno his build but I'm gonna try also get something similar to it, but with some variations of my own =x

With the new RWC accessories, I am able to have -32% variable cast time just from those two. Without counting other equips - am I able to do instant-cast SN? If so, what would be the use of it? If I used my skull cap + tsod there's another -10%, but I rather use my RWC set instead of that.

Also, I reaaaaaaally want my SN to become a baby. The HP is so low, I don't care about the -20% hp/sp. However, does any kind of build (aspd, instant-cast) need any stat above 108? (108 is the max for baby).
For aspd: 108 agi along with dex and good attack speed gears, 190~192 is doable? I want to make something like scept's super fast atk breaker along with some helpful skills.
For instant cast: 108 int and 108 dex with improve concentration, owl's eye (10+dex), -32% variable from two accessories, should be TOTALLY and easily done right?

If variable time works the same way as pre-renewal, think Beelzebub. That means it's your 7.35% "variable time" that will get reduced by 32%, which will leave you around 7.35%*2/3. If I remember correctly, instant-cast CANNOT be achieved via % reduction, due to the equips/cards provided. Not sure about renewal, if you can find a combo to 100% reduction, congrats?
Dex does not equal "% reduction to variable time" in terms of representation within cast time formula.
You should know better than doing multi-concentration in RO, esp. with a baby, let along being a SN.
With 1 vit, you will always get one-shotted by GoH. Well, maybe 2.

started back another SN on classic... completely deleted my old one that was already lvl 73 or something... (melee one) and tried back for a mage one....
and now i don't want to play him anymore... i don't like where i am at 62 and don't know where to lvl now.. since im still stuck with mi gao or geos... and got low Int and seems that i don't have quite high enough Dex (even if i barely only putted my stats there)... so now on i don't know what to do... guess ill start it back to get back my old double attack one or i don't know...

Im somewhat doing a hybrid SN that can do all sorts of stuff like break emps, freeze/stone people as well as buff/heal (Have agi/bless/heal/sanct) them. Of course the hardest part is actually getting there.... 
I'm level 129 SN atm, so once I get around the 140s, I'll share my build and stuffs.

As an SN, your job is a little similar to a chaser. You're suppose to be a distraction and just annoy the
out of people. lol
I wish the expanded SN has 99 skill points too coz I really wanted to get IC and Owls Eye 10 as well....
I was thinking of maybe dropping the push cart and enlarge weight but having a pushcart to store extra carrots/pots/speeds/food is always handy to have.

Here is my Super Novice skill build as food for thought. I plan on using a mace for maximizing attack speed while using a Chick Hat to break Emperiums and a Vellum Flail to screw over other players

Why did both of you get Increase HP Recovery?
Also I think endure doesn't work in WoE, unless you're getting it just for the +10mdef.

Increase HP Recovery increases the amount health potions heal by 100%.

Pickies with eggshell are newly hatched Pickies from Peco Peco eggs. They lose this egg shell after 5 minutes or so.
Every picky you kill spawns as a peco peco egg and takes "a while" to hatch. Make sure you're not killing Pickies with egg shells or you're only shooting yourself on the foot.
Best tip I could give is just use an SP large pot/Vitata 500 to increase your max SP, teleport around and kill eggshell-less Pickies.
Also, don't go for 1k kills all at once. Do 250 kills and take a break every now and then or you'll go bananas.
There's a tip if you didn't see it on the other thread.

What about improve dodge lv10? I guess it's good against pvm and it reduces the damage from GoH.
I also got enchant poison lv1 for people wearing fire/ghost in pvp, assuming they won't be wearing undead

Improve Dodge does not in any way reduce the damage you receive. It gives you + (3*Skill Level) Flee. Just use Cursed Water
.

And, whats the minimum needed Hit in woe, assuming you want to hit all the average 150/50 players including GX's at 90%+ rate? I might want to go 1 dex build, yet I want to hit people. Dex bonus give me tons of Hit, but I see in irowiki that Weapon Research gives 20% more hit at lv10? I'm pretty sure that is wrong. But can someone clarify =p

Still gives 30 Flee, sucks about the 10 extra that Thieves get, though. Vulture's Eye gives 10 Hit if I recall, although yes that probably isn't going to help much.Also, you're not a thief class.
