Hello All!!
I would really like to try creating 3D stuff but I have no idea where to begin. Is there anyone out there willing to make a tutorial on how to create 3D stuff for Rose?
An extra bonus would be if you could explain how to actually get the content into the game (at least into some kind of test client). Obviously someone knows how to do it because I have seen creations on here that people took screenshots of the item in game.
Thanks!

Well said.
The other side of the coin is the actual 3D modeling software, and while one well known program is free, the rest are expensive. (Not sure if I may mention product names, so I won't).
If you want to try something like this, I would start outside of rose and build your own models from scratch (many easy to follow tutorials can be found online). If you get the hang of it and enjoy the work (and MANY hours spent texturing ><), go ahead and attempt for permission to run a test client. But if you don't like it or can't/won't put the necessary time into it, then that would be a lot of wasted effort (and possibly money!).
From the work I've done, I would say it's much easier to learn from the beginning anyway, as starting with a complicated model will just confuse you. This kind of hobby can be SO much fun, but it sure is time consuming.
Good luck
