I see more people spamming this thread, yet I was accused of making this thread to spam the forums... Genius.

I'm the only active player that has the Gothic Punk lookI don't see how you think I'm "jelly" and bashing on people that have faiths when I have just about all of them. Get over the fact that you have faiths, because you're not the only one.
Oerba isn't playing sooooooooooo.
Back on topic.
I still think Feuer should be incharge of the design team.

The allocation of dev's and current level of content improvements/additions will give you an indication as to where Rose Online perhaps sits within that strategic plan.
I think the OP has generally noted some positive potential enhancements and I think it is important we give feedback to how Rose Online can be improved. However, I think historic events (Moving to F2P etc) would suggest major development of Rose Online, at this stage, is not a business focus.
That being said, moving to steam may be an indication of reinvigoration to test the waters of public buy-in again. Who knows?
In the interim, I'm happy to play this game! I'm once again (to my wife's dismay) highly addicted!

Also, there have been a number of changes made, specifically requested by the community. Also there has been art, and items added to the game, that the community itself designed and submitted.
It's not that gravity doesn't listen, it's that the game itself was in a broken state when they bought licensing to it, and the community just trashed every attempt, to upgrade fix or change the game. It ended up leaving the company stuck between an un-finished game, and an irritated community [rock and a hard place].
Also, if the community would ban together, suggest ideas for new content, pick which upgrades they want, and back up the idea, it would probably get added to the game. But instead, everyone, with exception to a very few people, just go 'well gravity is stupid and doesn't listen, they obviously WANT the game to fail" and don't even post something helpful, or an improved suggestion. -hint-
The negativity on this forum, is what prevents the developers from making any of the suggestions real anymore. It's mostly our fault and not theirs. Cause this community, just doesn't give a damn enough about the game to try and stay positive about an idea or desire, they'd rather tear apart the ideas, and trash talk the staff, completely ruining the idea, even the good ones.
It's just dissapointing to put out my best effort, to see people who say they want the idea to be real, but spend more time posting about how lame and stupid the staff is, instead of suggesting improvements, or their own ideas...

And the reason why we say Gravity is stupid and wont listen, is because we have done the exact thing you mention...we drew pictures, made sock puppets, made bar graphs about the crap...Nothing was heeded....I think our last option is to drive up to the place, shove the developers faces into the monitor and go "FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY WILL YOU PLEASE LISTEN BEFORE YOU COMPLETELY KILL THIS GAME???!!"
At the very least, i will get to work on posting about my biggest issue...this freaking drop table...and one bug in particular that annoys me...the bourgeoisie stockpile...then i guess ill work from there so you can see for yourself how oru posts get ignored.

While you keep digging what went ugly on this game, this thread aims otherwise.
I would agree that this game is DEAD but we are the defibrillators of it.

If you gave up on this game, then GTFO.
While you keep digging what went ugly on this game, this thread aims otherwise.

Precisely what I'm trying to do, we have new members, we have new minds with new opinions and input. Instead of going 'this game sucked and still sucks" try to give it 1 more 'damn' about it and think of something new, innovative or like you want, FUN. If the game isn't fun, and you actually want it to be fun -sathanas- think of some new fun things and post them as a suggestion. I know for a FACT they don't ignore the posts. Mostly based on 2 reasons.
reason a. I've asked and been talked to about the threads, and if they get read or not. They do, and they also move 'copies' of them to a section where they won't get lost if it's something they want to discuss in a meeting or similar.
reason b. I've had my 'warning level' raised, posting privileged removed temporarily and verbally warned about my behavior on just about every thread where I lost my cool. So obviously they're reading the threads and forums. Some might get over looked, but if it's posted in the right section, and has a good intent, they most definitely see it.
Long story short, you may have gotten bored, annoyed and frustrated with this game. But not everyone is, and the new players can help mold ROSE into a more fun game, but only if you stop ranting like a child and try to be constructive along with the rest of us.

Days when we cried out balance, fix drops, and etc. so much that it would become pages and pages of threads asking and never getting a response. Only lately, have the developers began to impliment things we wished for(partly).
Like him and many of the people who have long left this game, this negativity is brought by years of fustration. Unfortunately the only ones left are people who stopped caring since they know the history of ROSE and their developers or the blind faithful.
If you want to know how to make ROSE fun? Bring back our old friends that have long since left.

first kudos to this thread you made and I support your ideas with 2 thumbs up.
My idea would be like to have a clan base/camp. Wherein other clans can invade in such time if they do not guard or defend it.The mechanics for winning or losing will be decided later.
The idea was the clan members to contribute in building it in return of some award (a weapon, skill, armor or costume, title etc honor/valor pts) when you successfully defend your own camp. Adding some ranking to it and some achievement table will come useful too.
Building your camp defense will rely on your clan members farmed mats. Crafters can in turn build some turrets while the attacker can make use of castle gears.
Just something new aside from the ones you've mention.
This added to end game content as well so players gives a busy time and strengthening the principle of clanning and for teamwork aswell.
What do you think guys?

As for sathanas, I'm sure he has posted ideas for fun things in the past, I remember him being quite chipper about the game as well. But that doesn't mean that there needs to be negativity, when other people are still trying to make the game better.
I dig it, it sounds like a castle defense mode for clans. and I can always appreciate a good suggestion towards adding clan content! Clan have been completely overlooked lately. The only thing a clan gets used for anymore is to be a part of warring -or as i call it, drama wars- Why not give some benefits to high grade clans, and rewards for members to work towards, like clan specific items and what not. Also adding some game content for clans would be awesome aswell, justl like your castle defense idea, i also wish clan wars them selves would come back. There really isn't any clan content at all anymore.@feuer

@others
please focus on the thread. you can make rants on another thread not this one please peace & love
@feuer
lol its true for that "drama wars".
I think why the game lost it luster because there's no sense of achievement anymore aside of having all gears you want from pvp. Sense of achievement needs a motivator too to keep them going. There are a lot of way to solve this problem and one has to start somewhere. And I do wish some more bright mind suggestion because i have faith on what you said (that the devs do have ears that listen to our suggestions.) and this is the path in order for us to enjoy the game like the first time we played it.
Keep the brainstorming rollin!

And BubbleGum, what do you think about the idea of clan mode for GA? Like CD + Dungeons that your clan does? The clan would be rewarded with clan points instead of valor, and the drops could be more clan points and some special gear, like a recolored piece of weaponry or armor?
And then, if they wanted to implement things like capture the flag, tower defense, tag, and what not, they could just add it to the GA system, instead of trying to design a whole new clan system. I think it sounds awesome, and makes the development phase easier for the staff.

the clan mode for GA has ups and downs well IMHO.
up: it will strengthen more clan affairs. maybe,
down: I speak for dracoS, as for it only a few clans has a number of players who are completely active. I think the direction to take was to make an official clan that becomes dissolve when an x number of ACTIVE clan member was not met but likewise appear again if the x amount of active members was achieved I mean just look around you. Too many people has clan name on top of them but mainly they do make clan as a mere ad sign above their heads (well not all really for there are some respectable active clans). But to sum it up the essence of having a real "clan" with all its meaning was lost and applied to only a few.
The idea you said was good but the fun thing to it is lost due to the ones i presented above (If you got what i mean). I mean maybe a portion of the severs population will benefit from it. Just to think it like this i am completely newbie and would like to join clan to help me excel well nobody will really join me in a clan not unless i am maxed out same with the low "nooby" clan, well, joining them would not really give me benefits so why give a shot?
That's why I suggest about ways to strengthening a clan in some points we need to think of a way to make "clanning" more sense than the "drama wars" its getting old and dry.

That idea however was just to give clans something to do. If you want to make clans more attractive to join, you should give them benefits like:
1. Increased experience depending on clans grade level.
2. Skill that becomes active once clan is a certain level, allowing player to teleport to clan house where you can repair, use storage and buy basic things like health and mana foods.
3. Equipment that you can only get for being in a clan, perhaps capes with your clan logo on them, or something~
4. Clan Skills: -note: these were planned, but then removed so im not sure why- call clan: teleport all online clan members to clan leader. Daily Buff: Once every 12-24 hours clan members can receive a special buff that increases drops and exp for 1 hour by an amount equal to 2x your clan grade -lv 1 clan = 2% more, lv 7 clan = 14% more- Clan Storage: self explanatory, storage all clan members can use if they are veteran member or higher.
Things like those would make a clan more tempting to create/join a clan. and the Clan GA games would give clans something to do, other than bicker with each other about "warring".

Sorry, I really wasn't thorough about the idea. It would be the same as GA is now. For Dungeons, you only need 5-6 people to start the dungeon. For PvP Games, I think 8+ should be fair.

I see I got what you are pointing out!! And I am excited to make this as future plan to consider adding up to the game.
Some added inputs by the community on this will be very much appreciated aswell.
Clanning is what interest me atm for I believe and based on my experience is that it's what kept me staying on the game because of my old friends in my clan

Not even all the bugs, but a few bugs.
Like visual bugs, where people run through walls.

Agreed, that bug is quite annoying. They should work a bit more on the collision detection and sealing the binding boxes a little better. Like the Infi's in Prison, that go into the wall and start shooting the players and the spawn points, and in CD people running into/through the houses and you get stuck 'following' them when you run into a brick wall. lolThis game would be fun, if you got rid of a few bugs.

Makes money and a challenge too.
-Make plutorunes required in refining after 10 so your items break (with exception of IM). That way, EVERYONE in game has to buy them to refine past 10. Thus selling more plutorunes.
-Make catalyst success rates LOWER, so people have to use MORE venurunes to get higher refined items. They are going to get max level items either way, why not make a few more bucks off it?
-Make items that are basically faith item clones, you can imitate the design of them, release them in game for about a week, maybe two and make tons of money.. cause everyone will want to have it.
- Premium account give you access to special PVP arena's.. LIKE UNION WAR.
I could go on, but no doubt there is money to be made off these idea's, the community will not like the idea's BUT you will make money.
