I just started this game and chose to be a muse... When I partied someone and used "Cure" on them, their hp bar in my screen doesn't seem to increase..
Are they getting healed? And is there a way to fix this?

There is occasionally some sort of lag/bug with the health bars. Don't really know why, but they should be getting healed it just doesn't really show :s

The best thing to do in a situation like that is (if you have time) to heal the person until you see their HP go up or assume that they were healed enough to survive.
I can tell you now, Cure isn't going to do much for healing so you should get the other forms of healing so you know for sure that they are getting a good amount of HP out of it.
