Is Glorious Glacier Knuckle any good for PVP? if yes, what gem should I put inside?
J7? D7? StarAgate7? Starquartz7? Can anyone advise on this? :o

thanks,

i was wondering about this too. i was thinking about using either this or balanced. since hardened doesnt seem that beneficial (or is it?)

the dodge on it is nice, but u cant really get a 100 dura one :\. so it has alot less acc than a 90+dura balanced :[

if you guys had to pick one wep to refine to 15, which would u guys do? what would be the best "overall" pvp katar?

When I think weapons, I think offense, and therefore I always tend to go for offensive stats/gems for my weapons. It really comes down to what you prefer and also what the rest of you gear looks like. You have to ask yourself; do you want more dodge or more accuracy or more AP?

And don't worry much about dura. You get about 1 accuracy every 3 dura, which is terrible if you ask me. It will be a bigger difference once refining kicks in, but it really isn't a big deal. A glorious weapon would only have a lot less accuracy than a 90+ dura balanced weapon because of the accuracy bonus provided by balancing a weapon, not because of the 90+ dura.

My personal preference is to chase accuracy and so I would use balanced, and I do for all my PvP characters.

even a refined wep with like 80 dura dont lose out on much acc than a 100dura wep right? assuming both are the same type.

how about a precious wep? i just started playing around in uw, and i realize that i cant catch ANYONE ):

iuno how people can run so fast with their pvp equips. I cant even catch them on my mspeed equips.

would a precious GK be good to use? or im better off buying sagi'd equips and buff like crazy, which will turn out to be SUPER expensive

Like I said, you get about 1 accuracy for ever 3 dura. That means the difference in base accuracy between an 80 dura weapon and a 100 dura weapon is about 6 or 7. That is unrefined, it will grow a little when refined but as you can see it isn't a big deal.

Best thing is to buy movement speed eq and buff up like crazy. That is what most people do. You should get the precious katars for that reason, as a part of your buff set. You can fight with them if you want, I wouldn't though. If you can get to 1800/1900 speed in your fighting gear you shouldn't have many issues with catching people.

That's the thing, it's hard for most classes to get 1800+ mspd in their fighting gear, other than champs of course.

Yeah but this discussion is for raiders. And for raiders this is a very reasonable amount of movement speed to get.

18xx + mspd in fighting gear is pretty easy to achieve <:

but as for GK, balanced all the way ;p
