You forget that K/O gets to dual wield daggers, so you can get even more matk to boost your dmg (not sure if you get the full matk from off-hand though).

Also, +100% dmg is not "exactly" x2 dmg, since you still only go through mdef once, it will be slightly higher than x2.

with TK being based on dex i believe there will be alot more kunai/magic hybrids

Oh you are right. Any GX players every pay attention to matk on their off hand?

I still remain skeptical about the magic boost. Until I see exactly how the boost is applied in the formula,

I'm wondering about that Oboro skill that says it deflects damage to others. If you can cast that on a friendly shadow chaser, it would be insanely good for screwing over precasts (assuming the person under the influence of the "buff" takes no damage). I can see it as being a potential offensive and defensive tool.

if its self target and the targeted player recieves no damage then it makes oboro the better class hands down... unless it doesnt work with css... with both youd be immune to magic and physical attacks... more likely it just turns magic attacks into splash damage...

The video is old, but the core mechanics of the elemental spheres thingies have not changed, so 30k petals are indeed possible.

i took this right off of rRO and google translated it... youll have to kinda fort out the wording a bit... but there is a bit more info on skill mechanics in there...

Yea the 3x3 aoe of explosive kunai was mention in the irowiki forum, but the double dmg part for the combination attack is still quite iffy. I assume it works like: 750% first hit, 1500% second hit, for a total of 2250%? Which is not that great considering on the reductions.

no its still only 750% and then another 1500%... counts as 2 separate attacks... i believe there is a slight cooldown on the skill... in addition Mucha Nage seems to have a great chance at failing... and the chance for coma effect on jyusatsu is super hard to inflict... plus the skill Meikyousisui has a chance to dodge magic attacks and ranged attacks but seems to not avoid physical attacks...

Meikyousisui is OP though, you can still attack and teleport/flywing and the effect will stay (but you probably can't move).

Activate -> flywing -> cast aoes and kill -> wait for hp/sp to recover/recast -> repeat

Of course the problem with k/o is their low HP, even with the new slotted varients and ninja armor.

idk what I expected. With the balances to the kunai tree. and the lack of new spells on the magic tree. Kage / obo are severely underwhelming. Even with instant cast it was meh. I think you could 150 in scaraba with a magic build in under 10 hours. But in PvP they will be useless. Haven't been able to test with real gears since they didn't really implement any weapon / armor npcs (At least not weapons or armor i'd be using). Bryn Sleip / 2 bris (so realistic) I was able to get instacast with stats and strings and hit about 21k with flaming petals on the test stone. Any third class in pvp would easily 1 shot a kage or obo from what I can tell.

IMO it would almost be better for the ninja not to get KS balanced and just not be able to class up.

No matter what I did the Obo buff always debuffed my matk when i casted it on myself. (could do more testing later) 16th Night is pretty cool. nearly doubled my magic damage. My strategy was going to be using RWC dagger + 2x Pendants + Enchanted Bazerald + KK CoD and level in scaraba 1 and 2. Scarabs would die easily and would rarely get hit with CSS. 120 int with those gears would melt an earth prop monster super fast.

Overall opinion: Good for leveling / Bad for PvP (Until I can test with real gear)

you can enchant your K/O gears for 100k each enchant (2 enchants per item including armor and weapons) and you can reset the enchants for 100k... you can reset the one slot or both... there is NO chance to break the gear or lose cards/upgrade levels...

def and mdef are most common... but +vit +int +str +agi +dex +luck are also possible
