So I came back after a couple of years and wanted to know what skills are worth upgrading on my commander.
I usually focus only on PVE, so what i care about mostly is the best dps build/skills -since it seems that beamslash has been nerfed TT_TT -

I appreciate any opinions so do share.

Forget the much hyped Beam Slash, forget it for good. Maybe, keep it at lvl 1 just to pull mobs or something, since it has better range now. Since it is affected by def, and SHORT range def (truly lol for a LONG range skill?), and virtually everyone has quite high def these days, it does very sad damage indeed.

I am also more inclined to PvE and I focus my skills towards that direction. So here is my build, if you want to have a look: http://forums.warppo...538#entry628538

A slight update, since recently we got a level cap raise to 90. Well, not much to add really, the few skills that can be upgraded are Boomerang and Moonlight Slash (to max 10), you can get a couple more levels in Uplifting Cry (woot!), and can max Face Strike too.

If you get 55 DNA points, you could add to Extended Adamant Mind, Extended Face Strike, and add to Potens Moonlight Slash to make cooldown around 6 secs or so. This is what I did, on top of the other points I mention in the link above. Perhaps, it is possible to add skill points to single target taunt, although it is not that great and Commanders are not Protectors anyway. Maybe it would help a tiny bit in tanking tasks.

Although, really for tanking... I don't know. If you happen to be in a party with +30 dps monsters and several debuffs, eventually a Commander will have trouble keeping aggro. Having ultra high dps helps, but for tanking purposes, Commanders do have some trouble these days (hell, even Protectors can have trouble).

Hope this helps a bit!

You can always propose your own super-duper-wow-OH-MY-GOD build that dominates ReQQ and obscures everyone else who dares to play the class. Besides, I am only playing this class for 4 years with very mediocre results.
