not sure if this would help u in your way towards 150 but I did get Radius and CL first before anything else, then reading spellbook/release. Safety Wall is your bff. God luck.

And please do ignore all the people feeling superior and being condescending to people who have issues with the quest
that seems to be a good portion of the people posting on the forums here. they talk as if theyre infallible, never die, execute every move they make with prethought out methodically calculated intentions, solo all content in the game, and that nothing ever surprises them. of course 99% of them are full of crap

Sure did, the quest for finding the Glittering Crystal and Giant Bradium Fragment is the 2nd hardest thing to do bfore the battle room quest. I did this with Frost Nova 10, and Vertical FireWall technique. Now, our class should always learn this VFW skills since its the best thing we can learn as non 3rd class yet. While equipping both accessories, with no protection againts spell interuption, i used FN to quickly freeze the monster, esp Naga and Golem. Run away or tele if you been chased by the bees, and move as far as you can from pinguicula. Multi spam of FN will not dmg the frozen monsters, so the frozen status will not break. MA + JT 10 to the target and quickly cast SG1 in front of you so that when it came back, it will get freeze again. now, repeat the cycle till it dead. NEVER TOOK ANYTHING DROPPED FROM THAT MONSTERS UNLESS THOSE TWO QUEST ITEMS or else you can never get the quest item until you drop back the other thing that you picked up from the quest monster. This is quest bug.
OK, battle room. when spawned in, 1st thing i did was run across the screen to left side corner where Aqua and the mobs need to chase me. Depending on your cast speed, cast sg1 in near yourself right away when u reached there. MA + CL scroll the frozen mobs, and move to below corner or other corner and sg1 on urself again, and repeat the MA + CL scroll again. Now, if you did that quickly, all you need is MA + JT10 to finish the rest of frozen monsters.
Other tactics is to just spam FN until all the mobs but Aqua frozen. i dont remember if Aqua can be frozen by FN or not. When you did that, just CL scroll the rest. Yeah, it can be real quick to die but that is what challenging about that. I dont use phen clip since i need much cast speed as i can. And dont forget to pot up too. Naga are earth, same with Golem, so if you manage to pull CR scroll on them, then you could see nice dmg racks up very fast.
This was quite doable with minimal gears and i believe you can do the same too ^^

There are 2 common skill build for warlock (comet and tetra vortex build)
regarding your suggested skill, its a big no (from my point)
1. we dont have intense telekinesis yet (so, u have free 5 skill points)
2. recog spell 1 only
3. no need for freezing spell if you didnt want to take Comet5 skill. its pointless to have since you already can store any magic skill even Tetra Vortex with none skill point in it. If you gonna take Comet5, spend 2 or 4 skill point in it. Thats the limit of skill points you gonna put into this skill.
4. If you did take CR5, im gonna suggest you go Comet5 route, since im pretty sure you are leveling to 150 now. CR5 for small mobs in TI/other party, and Comet5 for big aoe dmg stack
5. Jack Frost is quite nerfed in renewal. Stick to SG10 or FNova10. This is not needed if you not going to Tetra Vortex build
6. If you didnt take any Marsh of Abyss or Sienna, Quagmire seems a better option too. You gonna need it for mobbing and later for WOE
7. Ganbantein is quite essential if you gonna WOE later
8. SG1 or SG10. Dont bother to take in the middle, you gonna stuck with having less dmg n slower cast
9. Safety Wall is your best friend. True story.
Tetra WOE build (suggestion)

Tetra MVP build (suggestion)

Comet WOE build (suggestion)

Comet PVM build (suggestion)

According to your preferences, you can tweak a lot in these skill build to suit your playstyle. Everyone's build is different depending on their playstyle, stats, and their equips, but these are the basis of every build that I could think of. I will not tell out much. Suit it to your need, ok ^^

my guild only does ET so it would be great if i can help on that. we dont woe so i didnt go for gravitation field. i didnt know telekinisis isnt implemented yet...
can i still go comet route for MVP build or would tetra be better? or have both skills, i'm not sure.

Warlocks' damage have been indirectly nerfed due to WoE sets and going pure damage won't cut it anymore unless you got Mystic Amp scrolls, kvm +12 or higher and buffed to hell in MATK.

since you are going to ET, just plain comet build is enough. CL under string for mvp and release comet/Earth Strain for clearing floors. yours can do much on Evil Snake Lord, prolly since its a ghost4 element and cannot be hit by those bombs of geneti, and also on ECrothen level with CL/comet.

@Nero: I like your skill trees... but I would like to say that you need Radius 3 for ALL your builds... is a must, specially on TV since its a sniper-like skill... it can follow you and hit you even outside screen thanks to it.
Also, drop ES since most people use fcp in WoE, so better off getting max Sienna and WI/Marsh.
Stasis is getting nerf (>_<) so there's not much point on Max'in it plus is kinda a coward skill lol.

I really need major help with the battle test. So far, I've used up about 1000 whites (about 100 each try) and only got to clear the first wave. The closest I got was two monsters left on the second wave. The problem is I'm running out of potions when I get to the second wave. The other problem I have are the aquas. They hit painfully fast and by the time I've CLed them, I've used up about half of my potions. Oh, and I think there's a bug with the rubies since I'm apparently using them up without actually having hit the monsters. Grrr.... My tactic is like what other people have been saying. SG1 first and then run to the corner to CL the aquas. Besides the other problems I've mentioned, another is I can't run to the corner since the aquas are constantly hitting me. So I just CL where they are causing it to chain to the nearby golem, and it just spirals down from there. I'm gonna run out of money soon before I can even become a Warlock. I would do anything to pass this test. I'm BEGGING for someone to help me or for a miracle to happen!!! ;_; D: T.T
Hm.. you shouldnt have to use that many whites... are you using safety wall? quagmire and fortune sword+vmant helps alot to prolong the sw... u can switch to staff once theyre frozen. If you're flinching from the aquas you can try using an anodyne.

In addition to what jsquishy said, temember to use things like HP increase potions as well. If you have issues because CL is bouncing around, use level varying levels of JT (depending on how fast your cast is) intead to manage the number of mobs in close proximity.
LoL I had 1K ygg seeds easiest test evar
You could probably give 1k seeds to anyone doing the quest and it'd just make it harder for them.
