Sniper > Ranger skill build?

My sniper is level 63 right now but I cant seem to find a skill build. Are there any pre-requites for ranger? My stats are vit/int/dex for the arrow storm build.

I had this question too & was going to post a thread about it, but if you don't mind, can i ask my doubts here too ??

I have a hunter who has hit lvl 90ish & will rebirth as soon as i get motivation to level him up..
What stats & skills should i increase once he rebirths ?? He will be a PvM AS ranger & maybe occassional MvP( PvM is priority )..

Are there any gears which can be used by a Ranger/sura/RK ?? i'd like to avoid investing in seperate gears for each of them ( apart from the weapon )..I think RWH is one such gear( not so useful for sura maybe )

I've started farming mora coins for him on my RK & will get the white wing set till the time he rebirths..

Skip the falcon skills (Except for falcon eyes) and get the pre-reqs for trap research for the int+sp bonus, everything else is pretty much either obvious or optional.

You may want to get every pre-requisite skill for trap research just like TheDigitalKitty said (it is a good skill for AS ranger. 1 skill point and you gets bonus sp and int). Wind walker is a also a good skill to get to boost your flee, since you don't have much flee to start with. Falcon eyes is optional, it's a good skill when levelling a sniper but not that much useful for ranger.

There are two alternative build, you can follow allegrah's dex/int/vit build and level mainly with double strafe and arrow shower when become sniper. However, early level could be a pain since you lack agi and you will depend on sp items for some time (till you has decent int). The best thing about this build is that you can level faster at late level. Soloing TI is even possible using the right gear and the right converter. Ow, and you don't need to reset stat if you want to make pure AS ranger, since this build also does not need any agi.

Second build is classic agi/dex and may be some luk for auto-falconer. The purpose of using this build is to fast level to ranger. Leveling is easy at every level. You must however reset your stat once you become ranger or else you will be stuck with auto-warg build (auto-warg build is best for MvP, but suck at levelling due to lack of vit and int at early level. It is mostly advised that you level your ranger with pure AS build dex/int/vit till you hit 150, then you can reset and switch to auto-warg build for MvP purposes).

Ranger's equip for PvM/MvP mostly include elven bow and wwset. For headgear you can use either RWH (helps you alot in leveling), EMH (extra damage for pure AS ranger), Mercury Riser (extra aspd for auto-warg build).

I'll follow the regular dex/int/vit build for a AS ranger..will save the reset for later.

Get level 5 ankle snare, you need it for arrow storm. Wind walker and falcon eyes, falcon eyes is good until you get camo as ranger. Get the other pre requisites for skills.
