I came from another english server and the lack of FS Priests leads to denying unlucky people the opportunity to complete dungeon runs for the mean time.

You would see a dozen people outside dungeon portals who would go crazy once they see a Priest approaching. You'll be the hero, you call the shots. You might even be offered gifts for your services on raid parties if you're unwilling to join. This shows how much valued FS Priests are in this game.

How is this even an issue? Are priests trying to get in your group by blatantly lying or...?

The issue were tons and tons of DPS sitting outside of a dungeon looking for healers. One group got a DPS "healer" and proceeded to wipe constantly due to lack of healing power. With that in mind, I decided to main an acolyte healer last night and I am well on my way now!

Though for your hybrid priest issue I'd say it's most likely a player, not a class thing. Hybrids have been proven to be just as capable as FS in the hands of a good player. Just sayin ^^

WarpPortal should have a Priest-off player video contest to see/rank who the best support priest is for a given raid. This would be fun and it would get more folks in on the full-supporting for the glory of it. Actually if prizes were included that'd be rad (like...a priest specific rad looking hat, a fancy pants weapon, or an outfit based of Ro1 highpriests/arch bishops).

It seems like there's going to be a lot of FS priests. I hope we'll still be in high demand. ):

For an optimal community in RO2, I've had a theory I formulated out of experience playing end-game dungeons and raids from the other server:
60-65% of the online population must be DPS/Off-Healers
15-20% of the online population must be Main Tanks/Off-Tanks
20% of the online population must be Main Healers

DPS class/build: Ranger, Wizard, FDPS Sorceress, DPS Priest, Assassin, Rouge, Aura-Blade Warrior, Bear-Form Beastmaster.

Off-Healers class/build: Hybrid Sorceress.

Main Tanks class/build: Knight, Monk, Aura-Armor Warrior, Grizzly-Form Beastmaster.

Off-Tanks: Aura-Armor Warrior, Knight.

Main Healers: FS PRIESTS, HYBRID PRIESTS.

(FS Sorcs would've made it as Main Healers but then, they got nerfed last January in RO2SEA. That nerfed Sorc version is what we also have here in iRO2. I heard from the April 26 CM QnA that they don`t have any plans for any changes to the Sorc class. Now, FS Sorc is an unviable build.)


See what I mean? By end-game, of every five people online, one must be a Priest; not just any Priest, but specifically FS or Hybrid build. The demand will always be high, if not growing everyday.

Many people give up when they reach Lvl25 and takes the Monk path instead. I can't blame them, the prolonged exposure to the sound of Lvl1 Holy Light could drive one into insanity. But for those who are still up for the challenge... I assure you, you'll surely enjoy the end-game.

I saw in the builds you guys posted that no one got Archangel, and i'm wondering why because from what i can tell it would allow for some pretty nice burst heals. I didn't play in the beta so i'm guessing you guys know something i don't

Btw is there any way to reset skill/stat points? I'm pretty sure i'll mess it up somehow.

^Kafra shop sells reset scrolls, some events might reward you one, or you could buy one from other people.

I always play support because I don't trust others with the job.

I'm a FS Priest and it's awesome never having to worry about if a party needs you.

It's heals they are always needed.

The builds I've found on these forums are really good.

im a FS Priest and i think i think i kno why most people dont play it. takes really long time in killing espically the khara quests for killing mobs, also you cant waste any points maxing any attacking skills cause would be a waste when could have put them in healing skills. but it is well worth it in dungeons. i suggest when making a FS priest lvl with a friend preferably someone who does DPS or a Tank or both, you both will benefit from it. You use less pots cause have your own healer and kill stuff faster get quests done quicker. thats just my input.

Play with a friend, and you should have no problem with going FS priest.

After making four other characters I have finally decided on a Full Support Aco.
Enjoying it a lot right now, very close to 15.
For anyone having an issue soloing, swap to a busier server and invite people in the area killing the mobs you need.
Makes it 100x easier.
