Hello fellow RO lovers! I must say, I was significantly disappointed by the SEA release of RO2. I helped beta test it, and was absolutely disgusted with the way Playpark and Asiasoft handled the OB release. However, I am not going to waste my time bashing and ranting on them here. What's done is done, and just from the videos and promoting being done by WarpPortal, I must say, this time around I'm extremely impressed. The GM team looks professional from what I've seen of them so far, and my hope has been renewed in this game. So far, it looks wonderful!

I'm looking forward to reserving my names and seeing you all in there!

Yeah so far iRO2 has been managed far better than Asiasoft ever handled SEARO2, and the game's not even out yet here.

But the staff has been quite interactive, which is a nice difference from Asiasoft's... well, absence. It makes me optimistic about this release.

In my honest opinion i was kinda sad on how playpark handled it, i have been following on what WarpPortal has been doing with the game on their Twitter page and Facebook page and so far they are going the right direction with this so i have much faith in them. So in the end all i can say it we have to wait till beta :)

I wholeheartedly agree with both of you. But yes, I have gotten my hopes up again for this. Warp Portal seems to know what they're doing so we'll just have to wait and see! ^_____^

I'm loving the enthusiasm! I completely agree about WP's handling of this release so far. I think we should all expect a rocky OB as that's normal, but it's nothing a little understanding can't solve!

I feel like a freakin' cheerleader, lmao! But yeah, after seeing the video promos, I have high hopes again. Honestly, unless an earthquake drops California into the ocean, it's going to be pretty tough to bomb as hardcore as the SEA release did. They'd have to be TRYING to fail. XD ♥ But now that I had the chance to play through the game already, I learned from my mistakes. I now know that a mage/chef isn't a great combo, lol. I'm going mage/alchie next time. POTIONS! OMG~! :heh:

potion making is expensive and you still need to kill to get most materials some mats are only obtained via killing the monsters lol and some ppl will have a vend up to sell crafting skill out ^^

I'm quite excited for this, too! I had some decently-leveled characters on SEARO2 - Assassin Level 38 and Ranger Level 33 most notable - but stopped when I saw that they didn't care about the players whatsoever; they just wanted a cash cow! I mean, basing Khara Missions on buying 35$ worth of bags per characters (which are free and drop randomly in kRO2)? No thank you lol

I'm so happy that WP didn't take too long to port this. I loved RO2's mechanics and quests (though I hope WP is going to change it up a bit - repeating the same quests over'n over for new characters was a turn-off for a lot of people!) and cannot wait to start anew in iRO2.

I'm extremely excited for this game, too. It looks fantastic! I was disappointed in the SEA version as well. I am glad to see that this version is starting off nicely. :) Let's hope for more good things to come in the near future!

I must say, don't expect too much. You might get disappointed like us. But maybe good things will come once in a while.
