I know there's people who like to marathon as far as they can for the satisfaction of being first to max level. It happens with every game. There's also people who go out and hunt specific items to monopolize the market, and some who just want to make friends.
So I ask, what's your MAIN goal of the beta? (Aside from getting to level 10). Do you plan to zerg to endgame? Are you going to try to dominate the market?
Me, I'm probably just going to take my time with some friends and explore the world.
What are you planning when you finally get in?

You only can make real money at level 50 , because of the end game fusion cards such as Persona + , Scratch Theif + , Garbong +. Also crafting late game makes a lot more money aswell.
So max level is the way to go for now.

For the Beta i am going to take my time. Reading the quests and so on (on SEA i couldn't understand due to really bad engrish @.@) and testing gamemechs here. I Hope resu skill is like kRo2.
And making friends of course, nothing ist more boring than playing alone (for me) ^^

I personally am joining this game for the community and not trying to be a straight level grinder like most people tend to be. RO2 is going to be beautiful and peaceful a place to enjoy those around you. The levels will come and of course I want to max out but it might take me a bit longer than those who are gonna sit and grind monsters all day.

I don't give two llamas about getting to a certain goal as quickly as I can, or being the best, or any sort of competitive thing like that. I just want to enjoy the game, make characters, have fun, read the story again.

You can pretty much level up by yourself in this game, but some quests and dungeons (mainly dungeons) are hard to go solo. I'd say impossible.
I guess the most of us are coming from the SEA server, but there are some new players too. I'll be also helping them (but getting my chars to lvl 10 comes first...)

I plan on building into a complete healer/support acolyte-priest so I'll be looking for an active and friendly leveling buddy or buddies and maybe a guild. Everything is more enjoyable with friends the more the merrier! From there I'll be keeping up with my crafting and trying to make some decent coin until I get to higher levels where I'll be dungeoning/raiding like crazy!

The beta or launch?
For beta, I'll probably slack off a bit and try out most of the classes to find some hopeful differences in skill/etc.
For launch, I'll probably choose the class that I favor the most from my tests and go with it. Although hitting 50 is relatively easy, I'll make an effort to stop myself from creating more alts. From what I see . . . alts = more time used, more zeni used to re-gear/khara/collect things, less time powering up the main.
Just my opinion though, I can understand the other side. More character variety, ability to character switch to suit a party/raid's needs, more chances to attempt a coliseum at the specified times, more job classes and ability to craft/sell more job items .

I don't know. Although alts do mean more time used, they're not necessarily more zeny spent. Some people actually do that so they can get zeny rewards from quests/kharas again, because they can't even afford to repair their main's equipment anymore.For launch, I'll probably choose the class that I favor the most from my tests and go with it. I just want to get a feel for the game,
Since it is Beta I assume that entails a wipe once the real release comes so, I don't plan on playing to hard corp.
Just enjoy it and make some friends and maybe steal some of these new friends to WOE with us on the Renewal RO server...muwhahaha

My main goal? Create my mains and get them to level 10 so I can reserve my IGNs. That's most important. Then after that, focus on one and level her up....then move on to another....and the other. After I get my 3 main girls taken care of, can focus on alts. ^____^ ♥

I just remembered something when i started playing beta in SEARO2, i had trouble getting enemies at start because of so many people so before i relax i will rush through the first area cause its always so laggy due to lots of people :/

So much love for you sir. So tired of the focus most MMOs have at endgame content. Can't we just enjoy the ride the entire way? There's a lot of content people miss when they feel like they have to rush to a certain point just to start having fun.

Get to 50 ASAP. Make friends when you hit 50, for raids etc. Trust me.
If you make friends early, chances are that most of them won't be as active as you, and won't have the same online times. I find that you spend more time as a group when you're 50. Most people are too busy leveling to go out of their way and help people they just met in-game.

As for me, I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying my time when I first played the game and I'll try to help most of the people I will see (hopefully) and maybe enjoy my time in the game as I tackle with more class and do some raids with people.
