i have few questions about monk.
is it worth max quartiple blow and grand collapse? 8 points for 8% and 7% not impressive.
as i understood monks combo is quartiple- collapse- for generate spheres and m attack for use it.
and about shout. is it worth learn it? on 1 or 5 or dont learn it?
and what ammount of spheres max 3 or 5?
how about this build what should i add and why. its for tank and pvp

It's a good point to notice, but it's only for colo.
If u plan to do Raids, your dps will suffer.

Anyway, i'm using this build actually http://www.ro2skills...107brronorBeFrA
I'm happy of it.

Any comments on this build? Looking for a pure tank, PvE only build.

Maxing Shoot is useless, leave it at 1 and max iron M attak.

Exactly, quadruple is a skill you spam to up your spheres so you need to max it.
Drop of Grand Collapse isn't worth to max because there is no cooldown reduction. You just need it to get spheres for the rotation :

TSS>DGC -> Iron M
Quad>Quad>Quad -> Iron M
DGC>Quad -> Iron M

Shout? I heard from MTs that it needs to be on a low cd so you can grab adds if needed or pull mobs if they target someone else for some reason.

If you were doing it right, you shouldn't get out aggro'd :D

And besides, shout just overtakes the person with the highest threat by a small amount.

I'd just leave it at one and maybe just put points in lightning walk or flee, but I guess shout works too

Sure it's fine. But maybe leave Flee as the last skill you get/max (in case you change your mind)

Those last 4-5 points are usually spent on:
1) Lightning Walk
2) Flee
3) Grand Collapse (rarely but I've seen people do it)

yeah, so again, it's personal preference but that's practically every monk's build xD

Maxing Shout is completely useless because it doesn't add any threat and the cool down is not worth it, just leave it at level 1. If you want to pull mobs out from your ranged teammates just use Lightning Crush as much as possible.

I have a question. What is the best Runestone to put on gears for a Monk (Tank)?

Vit Runestone? For HP pool.

or

Str/Int Runestone? For ATK + Parry.

Any comments or suggestions?

If you're having trouble meeting HP requirements for raids, go for Vit, else I guess try to even out Str and Int runes?

Anyway, some people argue that Vit is useless and don't bother at all, but it's really up to you

Didn't feel like making a separate topic for this, but since getting all of my colo gear, I decided to make my colo vids (of what I did take) public.

Big disclaimer, these videos are more for people who don't know where to start doing colo as a monk. There are many ways about it, but the videos show how I do it. I am by no means the authority on this. I just want to share what I've seen and done.

The way I do colo isn't fancy, but it's how I do things. No Kafra items. No prebuffs (unless I just came from an RHD and forgot to remove it). No premades, EVER (are you seriously that bad that you need your mob?).

As a tank, our strength isn't that great in PvP, so I thought why not play up our strength in colo? That is, PvE. Lame? Okay, fine, but if you do it right, it's just as effective. The problem then lies in the other people trying to last hit the monster you're targeting. It's all about timing and knowing when you let off the next attack, stopping if you have to. If you're comfortable with PvP in colo, by all means go for it.

Now when you get to the finals, it's really just luck on who you face. Can't do anything about it. However, even in the hardest situations (5 range vs 1 monk), there's still an opportunity to learn how to handle tough situations.

Here's the link below for those curious.

@Rukaroa My Monk brother... I must congratulate you for your achievements on the Colo. Those videos made feel that my Monk, someday, can achieve something similiar on colo.
