Don't have pictures of any of the two, but Darkness Valkyrie looks a lot like Einherjar Set or at least the priest one does.. (Bapho/PVE, einherjar's the correct name). :p_laugh:

I probably should note that sort of thing, huh.. I'll add it in later with the other stuff I have in mind.
I just noticed that the male Rogue GoB image I have shouldn't be for GoB. Now that I know more about set names and class-specific appellations, I can search for icons to crafted sets. And judging by the icons in that rogue image, it's a full crafted set. I'll fix it with that update.

I know I've seen a couple other crafted sets before then, so over the next few days, if I have time, I'm going to search through sources to try and find them again.

There's so many other sets too D: too confusing. There's 2 sets for each raid dungeon I believe, the Einherjar (Normal) and the Dark Einherjar (Hard). Not sure if they look differently. xD

Okay... That Rogue set is NOT crafted. I thought it was odd that I would file it there on pure assumption that it'd be GoB. I filed it there because the icons matched up with what I could see of the stuff from Dungeon Graders (which I assumed would match GoB, for some reason I can't remember). Furthermore, I know that crafted sets have skewed bonus stats like pure Haste--the Rogue one is for Vigor--so it bothered me that the guy in that picture has equal Haste and Vigor.

Does anyone know how sets bought using Victor's Points differ from crafted ones and from the ones bought with tokens?

Okay. AoD can definitely be dyed, and this male sorc looks so much better for it.

Posted Image

I'm starting to guess that Victor's Points really do look different from the stuff you get from tokens. This guy denied wearing crafted gear, and told me he's wearing CoA-Hard epics. I couldn't confirm if his came from VPs or not though.

Posted Image

For now, I'm going to assume that VP gear and crafted look the same, and that they don't look like token-exchanged armor. But I really hope someone can confirm or deny this.

The 2nd pic is from normal dungeon armor, I think Fortress of Sandstorm or Sandarman .. one of the two.

Does crafted gear look different from token-exchanged gear?
Yes.
Do epics bought with VPs look different from token-exchanged gear?
They look very similar. VP Gear is mainly headgear and gloves but does not include shoes, armor or pants. They provide less stats compared to token-exchanged gear.

If that's a Lv.50 blue, and this is a Lv.50 blue, and the icons to a whole bunch of Lv.50 purples (crafted, VP, and otherwise) look like that first blue, then I'm just going to forget about looking into crafted sets.

And then two of those GoB (female knight, male monk) images I have look like how the GoB icons do, but their icons look like crafted/VP/other icons.  I';ll leave them, but this is so stupid, my head hurts.

I was looking forward to finding more to add.  But I guess it's better this way.  I probably would've been too busy searching for images in my spare time to play once the server reopens.

I raged so hard when I realized that what's in the item icons does not reflect what the item is similar to.

Crafted Sets were weird in SEA. Mainly because the pieces were so all over the place. Some sets had missing pieces. According to the database, there's suppose to be two tiers of crafted equipment before changing names. These gears were suppose to have 2 different sets each (1 for dodge, 1 for parry). To make things less confusing it's suppose to go:

Desperate / Celestial Apostle -> ??? Apostle -> Darkness / Rise & Fall Valkyrie -> Pitch Darkness / Brilliant Valkyrie -> AoD Epics

However, this is where it gets confusing.

1. The tier 1 Apostle (Desperate/Celestial) only dropped shoes, gloves and weapon recipes.
2. Tier 2 Apostle didn't exist at all.
3. Tier 1 Valkyrie only dropped Top/Pants, as well as weapon.
4. Tier 2 Valk only included Shoes, Gloves Weapon (Need Confirmation for others, the case might just be that they havent dropped yet)
5. Helm craft doesn't exist at all.

I'm assuming some of the drops were tinkered with so that there's a distinct pattern of what sets offer what gear (There's even a conspiracy theory that they removed the helm on purpose so they can sell more cash shop headgear XD) In the end, you cant really complete 1 full set, therefore I don't think its worth adding the crafted looks. Also, as far as warrior goes, the Tier 1 Valk looks very similar to lv50 set. (For Warriors, the lv50 green set is green, the lv50 RHD set is White, and the lv50 Crafted top/pants is Blue. They all have different patterns, but they are very similar. I personally think the RHD set is the best).

In any case, here's the Lv50 Rise&Fall Valk Pants/Top:

That's a huge shame, as all of the Warrior lvl 50 blues and crafted look so much better than the GoB, AoD, and CoA. It's like the original endgame armor actually had some thought put into it, whereas the endgame raid armor were just "Eh! Let's forget trying to make it look like actual RO armor."

Oh boy. Do you know if the shoes/gloves/weapons between Apostle and Valk looked different from each other then?

Well I hope every recipe drops in this version, just for the sake of completion.

While stuff can indeed be dyed, the system behind dyes in RO2 is horrid - you can't select a color yourself, every time you attempt to dye something the outcome is randomly selected from 4-6 "normal" or "vibrant" colors, depending on which dye pack (normal or premium) you use.

I never got my lower robe color to match the upper part exactly and wasted quite a bit of dyes in the process...

I can't confirm this, as I was never able to get the tier 2 valk equipment, due to the mats required to make it, only dropping in CoA, which was practically non existant in the market save for a few. I was already full colo by the time CoA was being moderately completed.

Around level 37 the Sorc armor turns into a green leaf.. then at 50 the green leaf-ish armor turns blue and rhd armor is similar to the previous armors just that it is red. xD

Here's a set if you want to use it, It's the Male's Rogue Crafted set.

Posted Image

Desperate Apostle Gloves
Desperate Apostle Shoes
Dark Valkyrie Tunic Vest
Dark Valkyrie Tunic Leggings
No hat since you can't craft hats (in SeaRO at least)

In regards to this, this is just a theory but they might look the same, just because I know the Dark Valkyrie Dual Dagger looks exactly the same as the Desperate Apostle one.

And here are a few screenshots of a friend, Yaeri, in full GoB/PvE set.

Thought I'd post this because the pictures you have already are quite tiny. Hope this helps :)

I was actually afraid that no one even bothered to make or keep full GoB/PvE sets anymore.

Okay, I've been doing some lurking in my spare time.

Added a lot more Colosseum set images. There's something up for most classes+genders now.
Replaced the male Knight GoB image with a clearer compilation. Ideally, I'd like all of these links to be good enough to be used as art references (aiming real high here).
Added a spoiler section for credits to people whose stuff I've replaced.
Added a spoiler section for images of stuff which I hope people can identify for me one day.
