Witch pumpkin hat and alarm mask and variants? Slims? SOD? Try with eden and using normal white pots. if you finish it your first time, then post video here.
So the GOLDEN TIP:
Get some gears! If you want to be one of those who say its easy, then don't play it as your first character.

warlock is my first character(of coz eden gears). as for me, the fighting test is not difficult or easy, it is just challenging... if you just throw in yourself cluelessly in btween 8 mobs, you are the foolish one.
the math is, 8 monster x 4 square sides x (4x5 rainbow rubies) = at least 640 possible ways/ tries
Conclusion= do not expect to pass on first try and do not complain unless you already try the 640 possibilties
~creza took less than 5 tries using eden gears

i took two using regular low but specific gears..guess that makes me OP, no?
oh, you do that just to show as if you are OP? o.O
ppls are complaining the test very difficult without OP gear, so, player that pass the test on their first warlock with freely available equip should try to motivate them back, thats all...

I though the job change was still hard as the first time it was released, but I was mislead. I heard a random 99 HW was complaining in South Prontera. I told him helped him giving him some tips, but then he told me he could go with a friend. I went to the new world with my warlock and went to that new world map to help him out and to my surprise that map look so empty. It's so easy to collect now.
Any 99 Hw should be able to do the tests if he/she has phen, whites and know how to just use his/her skills wisely.

Seriously, who comes up with these quests?
The combat room was simple -- I didn't even use water armor. Just cast SG 1 -- MA, then blast 'em with chain lightning or crimson rock.

coldproof potions are 2k and hp increase potions are 30k
fresh fish = 200z each in alberta off chefs assistant
even a cheap goibnes set would be better then using all eden gear for this quest. use ragial.com andwww.iro.ragnarokonline.com to find yourself some gear with HP or magic dmg boosts on it

ya it sucks how nerfed the maps are now. that map would be so awesome for leveling if there were more mobs....
but yea i heard the same thing how the test was the hardest test in the game and impossible to pass and all this other bs. ive taken every third job change quest and this one is FAR from being the hardest. people that think this ones hard should try to go take the maestro test LOL. try running through 4 maps of 100s of novus and gryphons hitting you at 190 aspd for craploads of dmg

Now that I created a new High Wizard (20 Vit) I've tried the test with Eden gear, a Phen accessory and Fresh Fish + Fish in Mouth - and I didn't die to Waterball at all. The only problem I had was killing the stuff within the 5 minutes, but that's because I didn't use the provided Warlock spells effectively (instead wasted them by misclicking which might be related to lag, who knows).
Conclusion: If you don't spend money on your Wizard/High Wizard, then the test will be pretty hard. If you don't have a strategy for the battle room and/or no understanding of skills, then the test will be pretty hard. For anyone else the test is a anything from tough but winnable battle to nice little challenge to a boring test quickly dealt with.

This happens because there is a delay before the spell can be used.Just click on the item and wait. When the targeting circle shows up,use the skill.wasted them by misclicking which might be related to lag, who knows).

If there were ever someone who can pulled it off with no equip at all on first try with 10 pots, then I would really surprised lol, just saying.
Peace.

The battle room is one of the few parts I liked about any 3rd class job change, if only because it requires you to use actual tactical planning and understanding of the game instead of just GO TO VEINS NOW GO TO GEFFEN NOW GO TO SOME RANDOM PART OF TURTLE DUNGEON.

I wouldn't describe the test as "incredibly easy" for everyone, but I'd gladly do that test instead of the AB test.

i found the AB test to be INSANELY easy and fun as hell. the ONLY problem i had with it was the stupid valk summon bugging out and causing me to fail the quest because it would disappear off my screen and then not let me advance any further in the quest. after this happened 5 times i finally said-_- it and didnt even bother to summon the damn thing anymore. turns out you dont need to summon the pet. you can just solo the whole thing (and quite easily i might add with holy light)
but yea. people that arnt willing to invest any money into their wiz by the time theyre 99 high wiz are just asking for problems. you have NO RIGHT to say this test is hard when youre self sabotaging yourself. wizards dont even need to spend money on anything else because theyre usually in parties being healed by a priest and tanked for by tanks. even soloing, you can just use fresh fish to heal for barely 200z each. by the time theyre 99 high wiz, every wiz should have : orleans gown or at least a phen card (for gods sake theyre FREE if youre vip) and a staff of destruction. and this nonsense about having only 1 vit has got to stop. this isnt classic wow anymore people. if you have 0 survivability, then youre no good to a party, you cant pvp or woe, and you cant even do ET because splash attacks will kill you in 1 hit

Last year, the AB test would kick you out if you didn't summon your Valk. You also couldn't fail by leaving your Valk behind - I used to do it on purpose so it wouldn't get killed by the monsters... Did that change?
Also, you can heal bomb the enemy Valk monsters, last year and now. Faster and stronger than Holy Light.
Lag is killer in the AB test since you're on a timer to talk to get to each checkpoint. As long as you don't get lost (and as long as you're not accidentally also doing someone else's test >.> stupid unfixed bug), there's no problem

kicked out?!?! damn that sounds horrible cuz that valk is totally worthless lol. the first time i tried walking slow so it could keep up and it still disappeared. i also noticed that at a certain point the scroll just vanishes from your inventory completely LOL. i ended up just not summoning the damn thing and soloing it. much easier and it doesnt bug the quest.

It really is worthless, ha ha. Open only the last one, and at the last minute so you can showcase it in town I guess? xD
Yeah, I've been kicked out before when I didn't summon the Valk. Not sure if that was the specific reason for it, but I didn't see anyone else taking the test at the time... If someone else was there, it could be that I got kicked out when they failed or completed the test?
The last Valk mercenary you get can survive, but the first one is stupidly squishy. When I would leave them behind, though, even if I left them in the middle of the monsters on the first bridge area, its HP would just gradually rise back to 100% and stay there... I'm not sure why, either. The whole AB quest is just kind of not working as intended /swt
Wouldn't mind if more of the job3 quests were like it, though (seriously, who wants to hunt low-drop-rate items for hours for the WL quest, or for 100 burning hearts/dwolves for the RG/Sura quests?).

yea honestly i really enjoyed it. its probably the most fun one of all of the classes 3rd job change tests (although i actually do enjoy the ranger test). its a shame that its plagued with bugs but still alot better then the mechanic test that relies 100% on your luck vs the spawn rate of the map lol. i swear my first time taking that test, all of the walkways were blocked with 15 dimmiks all bunched up on top of each other

btw, high ti is dropping orleans gowns like crazy right now. the price should be dropping by alot or you can just go farm one yourself if you already have a high lvl char =p

Sounds like a great time to sell all my mechanic gear and pick up wl gear. Already got a phen free to boot too. Bet the test ain't even as hard as the mechanic one was.
