Hi!

Does anyone know what the base attack speed and mspeed values are? Is there some formula that I can use to calculate my attack speed or movement speed? I.e. does it change with level?

Thanks!

Neither stat increase by level or stats other than itself. I don't know if anyone knows the exact values for attack speed, as they are only displayed in modifiers. I looked into it a couple years ago so maybe this could help you.

I'm not sure what you mean for movement speed though, like how passives or gear effects it (the stat itself) or how fast would say 500 mspeed be in comparison to 1000?

i think he wants to know how to compute the output ms.

im quite confused too. i remembered that zurn explained it somewhere on how to calculate it. and i think there was a patch that "corrected" how movespeed was calculated?
  • i want to know what's the "base" MS of a character without any gear [though it will be displayed at stat window if i fully ungear my char, the way it is computed is weird]
  • how the "base" movement speed given by a boot item can influence output ms [without bold stat]
  • how the bold stat influence the ms
  • and the appraise stat
  • and passives

It doesn't even seem consistent.

I have some boots that have different behaviors.
e.g. if I equip boot A, I get the base ms stat and the bold ms stat BOTH added to my ms. If I equip boot B, I get ONLY the bolded ms stat, as if the base ms stat wasn't even there... and if I equip boot C, I actually lose ms, because its base ms is lower than the common base ms of most low-level boots, which I assume is the same as the base ms of going barefoot.

Although I think behavior B and C are the norm, and behavior A was just a bug. :P
And that is why I am not naming the boots, in case the devs get the idea to "fix" it

Okay, that's weird.

I tried it again and everything seemed consistent now (bolded stats get added on directly, shoe base stats are added as 5 * (x - 40), where x is the base stat, so that barefoot is same as 40 base stat, everything below 40 makes you slower, and everything above makes you faster [by a factor of 5]).

Must've been my imagination then... ignore my previous post.

Thats correct. Running barefoot is at 40 base mspeed.

Base is like 40 ms, certain shoes have a 29-35 base ms. Hence they'll make you slower.
