Chef worked out great for me because of the recovery and magic attack foods but alchemist is also great because I know I go through a lot of MP Pots.

Alchemist scales with your usage, basically it is perfect since you always in need of MP pot.
Alchemist pot value also scales with game.. Even if at the end game, there's always people who will need your pot, Maestro especially so this is where your money comes in.

I have my wiz with artisan because the guardian suits his theme. Alchimist for Priest since its a holy spirit, Chief for my archer/beastmaster due to it being nature Blacksmith for Warrior because its sexy.

Alchemist and Chef do seem suited to Wizard. However, I went blacksmith on a whim. Uh oh?

Alchemist. It's a good thing these potions aren't alcohol or else my Wizard would have to go to AA meetings.
