I play a lv50 sorcerer with 1970 magic attack power. Last night, I have reskilled my character with level 5 lighting bolt instead of level 5 cold bolt and that is all the change has been made.

Problem: Jupitel Thunder lv.3 (64%) and Varetyr Spear (80%) damage lowered after reskill

Before the reskill my damage output matched the descriptive percentage 64% and 80%, which on average they deal 2500 and 3200 respectively on non-critical condiction. However, after the reskill, they only do 1900 (50%) and 2400 (60%) on average without critical. (All listed damages are based on wind seal 2x or freezing status, non-stack)

Regarding all the change made was cold bolt (lv.5 --> lv.1) and lighting bolt (lv.1 --> lv.5) My guess is the actually precentage on Jupitel Thunder and Varetyr Spear are actually lower than what it says and cold bolt has some sort of buff on the lighting skills.

Does anyone else come through this problem?

Cold Bolt is the only thing that procs Wind Seal, so unless you've stopped using CB the damage should be the same.

I know that. However with both Wind Seal proc'ed, I have observed a damage difference. They were in the same environmental condiction.

You're certain of no gear/stat/card changes?

If so, I really have no idea.

seems to bizarre to be a bug imo you either changed gear or title or something. also you sure you aren't just getting parried right?

Getting parried would make a much larger difference. His numbers show a 14% and 20% damage difference instead of something closer to 50%, so I don't think that's it.

Are these damage numbers on the same mobs before and after the skill reset?
Since monsters should have defensive rates, have you tested you damage against something several levels lower than you are?

In case it was some bizarre fluke with the servers, did relogging change anything?

I have noticed sometimes that even tho Wind Seal is proced I only deal 1x damage with my lightning skills. Happens 2-3% of the time maybe, and its not the proc running out before the target is hit, which also happens occasionally, but I'm well aware of it when that happens so I know why I only dealt 1x damage.

You're probably just getting blocked.
Wind Seal doubles damage, Blocking halves damage. So the result looks like normal damage.

Also, when you consume the proc while it is running out, it might already have ran out. Even though it does look like you used the proc.

That's easily noticable when using the spear withing the last running second of the proc, at least for me. Even when it looks like I do a procced spear there, sometimes it hits and does damage, but does not stun (hence the proc was already gone).

Proc is on hit, not on cast.. so if your target is a distance away, the proc can run out before it hits. ;_; Always sad to see (also sad when CB procs JTM while a slow-casted JT is in flight.. and JTM proc dies when JT hits ;_; ).

I've taken that into account already, but even then the server sometimes already took off the proc (or the proc "hangs" client-side even though it wore off).
