Should taking damage charge rage? 5~20 sucks in my opinion for bashing enemies. Ever colo and you just get trapped and rooted sitting there with like 27/100 rage.. but you can't do jack crap all the while eating lighting bolts to the face?

I mean why is it even called rage if being hit doesn't piss you off? I sit there and just stare at my Tension Relax button ready to go but I can't use it because I'm rooted with only 27 damn rage.

Each hit should charge at least 1 rage for 1% of your HP lost. Every damn class gets a solid 1 charge. We get either double or nothing! I hate how everything with the Warrior is just based off pure luck. You either bash 3 times for that Aura Strike you bash 6 times. What the hell is up with that?

Seconded... I definitely feel the Rage welling up sometimes.

Not even 5~10, even 1~5 could work in everyday mob tanking (5~10 sounds nicer though).

ARRRGH!
Even knight generated rage in colosseum! But it not storred and just spreads on all area and everyone goes berserk!
it would be nice if they just fix coloseum itself.

It just makes the rage system kind of pointless. What was the point of changing aura into rage in the first place? Actually, every class has near identical systems. Warrior's being one of the worst.

I like the idea, but it could be OP, even if you only get 1 Rage per hit from mobs. When you are tanking 5+ mobs, you'll generate threat so fast. It would change the dynamic of the game for warriors a lot, but I admit, it would make tanking a lot more fun.

1% health = 1 rage

That way, number of mobs wouldn't matter. It would be based on the total amount of damage you receive. Unless, players are getting hit by bosses that deal over 60% of your HP in 1 hit. But even then, that's only 60 rage. 2 Aura Strikes. Woopiedo.

Rage now copypaste with "Beast Power" of Beastmasters or "Concentration" of hunters.
And Aura is copy of Monk's "Spirits" and both of them like thief's "Combo" gauge with cap on 3 points.
Copy-pasted 7 classes of 10.
It bad, but easier to "balance" them. We can see that in colo. :rice:
Yes - idea with generating rage from hits nice ^^ But we need compensate it with weakening something or buff other classes.

Yeah, but Knights have a chance not to use any Aura. Rogues have a chance not to use any combo points. Rangers have a chance not to use any concentration. Assassins have a chance to gain additional combo points. Monks only use 3 charges and have a skill to instantly give themselves full spirit charges again. Priests have the same thing as Monks. Wizards get haste with more charges. List goes on.

Warriors got uh...

Well, they have to gather 3 times more charges compared to the rest of the classes. That's about it.

The current rage system is awful. Honestly Warriors could probably do competitive DPS if they had stable rage income because 5-20 is way too random. With how much AOE bosses do and how often you're targeted in Colo, getting rage when you're hit wouldn't be a bad idea though 1 rage per 1% hp isn't that great.

If the 5-20 rage system remains, I think the rage we get from getting hit should be random as well. Maybe something like 5-15 rage per hit, doubled if crit.

Or as an alternative, each time a warrior parry's, they should generate rage.

Since being able to reach the highest parry amongst all tank classes is something unique to the warrior, make it so that parry for warriors in particular would become both an offensive and defensive stat!
