A lot of you strayed from the original topic. How about this; a list of the best in their class from the bsq level ranges. And i hear a mention of me being a troll but to me it seems that a lot of the people who posted on this thread are the actual trolls.

For example:

50-60
player1,player 2 - magician(priest/sorc)
player1,player 2 - warrior (knight,myrm)

Whoever has an elemental weapon is the best.

But I don't think a lot of people take pvp seriously in this game anymore.

If the OP was wanting to know names to one day play them: I'm pretty sure all the pvp fanatics have moved on a long time ago. The question for names have gone unanswered because the war has been over a long ago. Any newer players who are proclaimed to be the best will look like they jumped out of the bushes after everyone has cleared battlefield and yelled "I'm da bes'!" Ha....no but really, I'm sure there's a few perma pvpers still active so level that character up and have at it with them and maybe have fun! You'll find them during BSQ times so you can contact them then.
:Emo_18:
The other question is why don't we use all our skills to see the full potential of our classes? I'd like to think our server, just like every other server except gpotato, go for optimizing our skills to KILL! We have to do this! Egos and eggos are on the line!!! To give a basketball analogy (as if I am an expert on sports), I mean, sure if you want to win a slam dunk contest go for those fancy tricks. When it's battling a player with great fundamentals, those And1 street ball no look passes will be futile against the mighty Sword Dance! Muwhahahaha~ Okay I couldn't think of a basketball equivalent to SD. Maybe it's because that game.....isn't broken? And was that an analogy or metaphor? I get those two mixed up. Anyways at this stage of the game, I'd like to think no one really cares to fully "master" a character class and are just playing BSQ'ing to pass time.

Oh, and thank you for the respect given to this community :jellyfish: Infact, I played against a gpotato transplant last week. It was a perma (I think) paladin vs a same level priest I was playing as and I noticed that the paladin was fighting using the gpotato honor rules. I smiled and proceeded to dismantle this paladin and after the game was over I was told that the paladin would've won easily if that paladin were the dreaded infamous gpotato "bearspammer." I was perplexed at what a bear spammer is and was told that spin-it-bear was "banned" because it's too good as a catcher or something. I disagreed but to show me how broken it is the paladin would use it the next match. So what happened the next time we played? The paladin caught me with it a total of zero times. I have no idea what I was going with this story but I will say I don't agree with putting an apron on someone who wears high heels. Enjoy the high heels for what it is, wackyness and all!

...seriously I have no idea what I was going for in that last paragraph but I'll leave it anyway :Emo_13:

I have regretted my response on this topic long ago. Apologies for the arrogance.
But then again, i still have to upload a vid. I know a top 3 pvper saved a vid on which i get pwned on his stream.
Found it after looking for a while: http://www.twitch.tv/minkoti/c/2458783
I am the blue angel umbrella myrm being pwned ^^

Gotta record a bit for HQ, though.

@necoconeco : The original gpot pvp rules have kinda vanished into oblivion. Most players dont play by them anymore (or only apply the ones they feel like applying).
Nowadays ppl are doing easy stuff, and they're even bad at it. I wouldnt recommend new players in eu to actually play by the old pvp rules.
However, theres a small group of players that still plays by rules and even expanded them in an attempt to balance classes out entirely.
We force ourselves into weird gameplays, but I honestly love it that way. Its the only way i actually feel I'm getting all fired up in pvp ^^
If you ever choose to try some pvp in gpot again, I'd love to try that with you ^^

Not all priests use detection and the ones that do are overcompensating. Detection needs to be reverted from 100% to reducing mdef to about 70%.

Ninja - Yurai (Very aggressive that's hard to break in his prime... possibly top 5 pvpers of all time in North American server). Jona and Hifumi are the same; best ninjas ever

Assassin - Kwolf (No contest in his prime here; until he quit, got hella rusty)

Infiltrator - NoaEL (Possibly the greatest dasher and movement maker in the assassin branch; very unique style of play). Peinful (literally set the standard of low lvl pvp)

Rogue - Don't really know any cept WolfAyame (idky, she always wins somehow). Gvene (fastest Rogue ever (470 ms) the way he utilizes his skills with the speed is uncanny). LionHeart (One of the best team players ever)

Masquerader - yeah haven't seen any really that really gives a bite of something special. If there are, then I can't remember.

Trickster - Harlequin (possibly the most stacked 2nd class, but very skilled at catching foes in his prime. Also known for having the most wins ever; legitimately, in pvp: 2300+). Shiroless (New to the pvp world but probably has the best catching skills as of this moment for a trickster)

Knight class probably the easiest class to perform in pvp, but in terms of pure skill...

Dragoon - Odyssea (No contest as well, greatest goon ever in North America; being the top 3 pvpers ever here as well as being in the top 10 pvpers among all servers). Haku (Greatest and best team player for the knight class; you can always rely on her). BloodyRuby (Possibly the best European goon style player in North America)

Paladin - RollingDoo (Best Pally in Post-THQ era and possibly ever; very good decision making). YarouKun (Best known pally in THQ). Vieww (Fastest Pally; not in terms of MS but skill utilizing ever)

Knight - dkdkdk (RollingDoo's knight... What do you expect?). Casherne (Best knight of Post-THQ era) illili (Greatest 2nd class pvper ever in NA; with an uncanny record of 700 legitimate wins and 20 loss, she'd even pvp lvl 50 players with a lvl 1 sword (pvping a 3rd class with a 2nd class was unheard of in the THQ era))

Overlord - Jonaspaz (yeah don't know much but I remember him killing anybody once locked down). Atreu (One of the greatest non-cash users in THQ era. Very skilled)

Myrmidon - For some reason I can't remember anybody's name since its been so long since a myrmidon has ever played in pvp (skilled ones anyway)

Gladiators - Vageta (deadliest force to set foot onto 2nd class pvp). Kurogetsu (best gladiator in THQ era)

Sentinel - Nillachan (THE Best sentinel post-THQ era and easily one of the top 5 pvpers ever in NA). Jumboy (THE pvper that set the standard for competitive pvp early-THQ. Easily top 10 pvpers ever among all servers). Firin (he was much hated. Yes. He was cynical. Yes. But none cannot deny that the impact he left in the game was great. he was the most feared force early THQ era as well as setting the bar for competitive Emporia). Thuy (Fastest player ever in NA in terms of MS and skill utilizing. Was the best Sentinel late THQ era and early WP until he quit)

Pathfinder - All ya'll are good.. I hope. Too many to name

Hunter - Yaichi (Greatest hunter in THQ-era. First player ever to reach 2000 wins in pvp legitimately). Wyl (Yaichi's sidekick, but still very skilled).
Sentinalz (fastest 2nd class ever in NA (380 MS at lvl 37) very skillful as well)

Howitzer - Sheol (Set the standard of grenadier class pvp, can't get a higher honor than that...) Probably more but I don't remember much. Buck is up there too though
.
Grenadier - Hawk (best grenadier pvper post-THQ era) Yeah there are a lot of good grenadiers but he stands out lol.

Rangers - SharpX (Greatest ranger to have ever played in NA. 2nd player to have reached the 2000 win mark legitimately. He leveled to a grenadier but quit after only a shorthand of games)

Invoker - Don't know many invokers for some reason

Priest - Laling (Truly the best Priest in both post-THQ and THQ era. She can kill anyone. Literally. Can say that she's in the top 10 pvpers in NA ever)

Acolyte - No one really wanted to make an acolyte pvper anyway (kinda borin...)

Archmage - Rionheart (The most impossible force to kill when Dekard was still up, even then he was very hard to kill. Easily top 10 pvpers in NA). ihavemagic (one of the most feared team player in THQ era. not only was he great, but his 1v1 skills were outstanding for an archmage) I know there are a lot more but I can't think of them at the top of my head.

Warmage - Stalemate (Ridiculously skilled and the first player to reach 300 hlth in the THQ era. Crazy..). Idk who else honestly

Battlemage - Yeah not many battlemages in pvp..

Well that's all I got LOL

When measuring pvp skills of course there is going to be some sort of bias; but playin ever since BETA of THQ and still playin now (I know that this sounds like braggin or somethin..) but I think I know differences between skill and gear, especially when I pvped the majority of my time in Dragonica. Plus, when have I said that a lot of new players have to rely on gear is a bad thing lol, most of the players I just named off had amazing gear as well... But the ones that truly outshine their gear with skill is what I'm listing.

yea i know but, not sure if you've currently pvped on this game recently. There are some pretty good pvpers nowadays. And as for the gear, i just said that just in case cause some people really emphasize that pvpers now rely on gear.

Yeah I get what you mean and I do agree that there are good players recently, but the competitive nature disappeared. Most players pvp with just friends or wait literally 10 minutes just to get a pvp game running. The reason why? probably because of how rigged the equipment is now. Majority of the pvpers in this game right now either have sealed-magma weapons (for low lvl pvp) OR element weapons (which you literally don't have to get a new weapon until you reach Element-Elga weaps) in order to defeat others; both of which can literally SHRED a player even with +20 gear (Even when the recent patch increased hp% by a LOT and when nerfs were placed for evade and block). Sorry that I sound like a total butt right now but some of those people are partially correct as well; gear is more prominent than ever in pvp.

I know a couple of people who don't have any elements and can still destroy half the players out there. Rim for example. Gear does make a difference but skill is a must.

;3 quit being so modest fyero I know you're also the other case of non-element player destroying.

Also in terms of pvp skill, I can't say much about 1vs1 but I'll gladly be considered one of the top group-pvp Overlords. I prefer group pvp anyways as it's nice to see the classes working together for full potential rather than 1vs1 whoever catches whom first or the most. Believe it or not, I let people escape after a full combo in 1vs1 for equal chances of victory. Of course a full combo being:

Swords Dance>Gust Slash>I'm Gone Bear>Hammer Crush>

If Hammer stuns: X>X>Z>Z chain combo for stun > I'm Gone Bear > Incoming Bear > Death Bound > Wyvern Blade > Storm Blade. Let them escape.
If Hammer doesn't stun: Sword's Dance > Incoming Bear > Death Bound > Wyvern Blade > Storm Blade. Let them escape still.

When gear's on par then they will survive. Unless I throw up Bloody Roar in the middle of the combo like I always do. Glad to see Myrmidons and Overlords taking after that ;D

Any class that only has to land a single skill to guarantee a win I can't consider players using it to be good, unless they don't use that skill. There's just some classes with certain skills that once they land it they automatically win and there's no counter play to it.

As far as PvP is concerned, I think a big part of determining a player's skill is not only how they perform 1v1, but how well they work with others as a team. I know this is one area that I am trying to work on (although honestly I'm pretty rusty in both respects). Also, part of it is determined by the classes you practice with regularly, how good your opponents are, etc. IMO, I'd much rather face a challenging opponent that I have a hard time beating than one I can mop the floor with -- in the latter case, I feel like I'm more or less wasting my time because I'm not being challenged to improve much.

@Nilla: Sentinels are beastly now if they're geared right.
