and what about Light resistance, who in their right mind would want resistance against my heals? or am I wrong on this one, cuz I sorta tested with another Radiant who had about same light resist as I did and healed them for aprox 150 less than I did some random person standing near me in town. Lame to even have it in the game if u ask me.

LOL I've always wondered about that. Does light resistance really have an affect?? Hahaha that's funny.
I guess this is a benefit for melees like me who have low base resistance to begin with, opposed to casters who seem to have higher base resis. So you can heal a little less on mages, making them a little less better at tanking? Rofl but only in the tiniest way hahaha.

My light resistance is 14.37. :( Then again as I level it will grow some and I will get less heals. -_-

Funny stuff.;)

They expect you to survive by yourself and rely less on healers as you level up! Time to be independent!

I mean they expect you to use item mall potions more.

Light resistance doesn't affect heals. Long ago it was the resist school for Glaring Light and Holy Light.

Before they switched them to the Elec school~

ahh ok.. wasnt sure if my 'test' was accurate to begin with since heals are now different than they were in s1.. in s1 ur heal was what it was, not so much on this person and not so much on another as they are now. Makes testing heals with upgraded equip less obvious. Gravity is so clear on the mechanics of this game ya know ;)

Light damage is Heal skills. There is no resist for a positive skill effect. look at TB items and see no Light Damage resist

yea I know Light is for heals http://forums.warppo...tyle_emoticons/default/happy.gif As a Radiant I automatically have Light resistance of about 14% if my memory is right.. was only curious why this is part of my stats since Light only effects heals and no longer for Glaring Light and Holy Light skills as Loyalty stated previously. I dont want resistance from it either ;)

Ok, just so I got it straight (I can be so concrete sometimes). IF:

I add Light dmg to my Tempest, does that then increase my Heals by some magic number? And what if, for the sake of argument, I added Light dmg to my defi. Would that affect
Vampiric Touch or the use of pots?

I gotta get to the bottom of this. Driving me nuts.

Light damage will indeed increase the heal(not Rejuvenation skill tho) on your Tempest, however I recommend you go with magic attack which also increases your heals and will make u stronger ;)

it will not effect the use of pots.

as for Defiler I cannot say for certain, I deleted mine the other day after a year of not playing him. might ask over in the Kruxena section, someone there will know.

hope this helped :(

Or they're keeping it in-game for the Templar's third job maybe!
