I heard warrior's parry can easily be capped at 70%, so wouldn't it make sense to have 1-2 pieces of gear be Hit/Vigor/Haste?

Dunno is "easily" is the word. More like "just barely" even with full tank AoD gear + Accessories.

So I'm guessing still go for full Dodge/Parry?

Go for Parry/Dodge. Haste/Vigor doesn't make much of a difference because Warriors/Knights don't really have any cast time and most of the CD's are only chipped off a few seconds.

Maybe the crafted set that gives Vigor by the truckload will be useful. I haven't done calculations of the sort but being able to pot and use defensive cooldowns more frequently might pay dividends for your raid.

the HIT is what matters most in VIGOR/HASTE set. thought it still gives you about -2sec. cooldown.

In Colosseum where you have no problem hitting you target of course everyone first choice is Dodge/parry set to take less damage. But in WoE is a different story.

^ Parry and Dodge bonus stats from gear don't count in colo I believe, as much as "hitting you target" is no problem because hit rates are set to colo standards too.

Is it worth getting one or two hit/vig/haste colo equips for the hit rate only as an OT warrior?

Doesn't seem like it makes a big difference (top alone is.. 0.8% hit?)

Would it be better to invest in pump it up hard pills for WoE / CoA? (I assume those remain active even if you die?)

If anyone else has other suggestions on how to improve your hit rate feel free to contribute^^

(and can anyone confirm that your hit rate in PvP - assuming equal levels - is simply your hit rate minus your opponent's dodge rate?)

Thanks! :p_idea:

If you are using Battle tactics like the lubu build, or any other critical tank build, weapon and armor with dodge and parry, and all the accesorys of colo with int/agi  and  hit/vigor and that hit extra helps a lot in Coa, because the bosses are level 52-53.

Haste/Vigor doesn't make much of a difference because Warriors/Knights don't really have any cast time and most of the CD's are only chipped off a few seconds.

Ppl  haste is not only for casting skill, is for Atack speed too. You get more atack speed if you has more haste. And if your atack speed is better, you get agro more fast. Because of that (and for the int ofc)  all my accesorys has hit/vigor/haste and the armor/weapon with dodge/parry.

Sorry but what is attack speed in this game anyway? Is it the speed where you can use your spells more overtime or is it that white filler passive attack we see in between skills?

when  you have more Atack speed , you atack more fast with mele skills and with the passive atack. You can chek this using a guardian with the buf of 60% on haste, use it and check what happens when you atack some mobs on mele :) vigor is for lower the cd on skills and haste for do more quick the skill, not only cast skills.

Someone tested the attack speed thing. It looks like Haste doesn't improve attack speed (skill animation) -- only casting time.

They might have fixed it or added the feature lately, but idk. Food for thought.

As far as i can visually tell, haste doesn't lower normal attack speed but it does make attack animations faster so in a sense it does let you do more damage over time.

I might be wrong though...

It makes your attack(animation) faster, so the faster the attack/animation/cast time the better aggro/dmg generated. As someone said, try it with a gurdian 1st before deciding for yourself.

Haste only affects auto attack, not skill speed. So it;s pretty much worthless on a melee.

Freakonomics Is right, haste do the animation skill more fast¡ , not only auto atack. I repeat You can chek this using a guardian with the buf of 30% on haste.

Totally forgot, it should be the lvl3 guardian to actually know the difference. If its just a lvl1 guardian, its just -_-.

Not my problem if you cannot see the  difference, you are acting like a troll like in the vip post, you not need coa hard for nothing? (false you need coa hard for AOD)  the haste is a waste for dps mele? (false , the haste increases the speed on atack mele and helps a lot with the dps/agroo)  GTFO troll you are the only here saying false info and acting like a pro, with no idea of nothing.

pd:Freaknomics and other ppl of my guild can see the difference, but  you need X % of haste for see it  with only 1 piece of hit/haste/vigor you cant see nothing.

35% haste does nothing for animation speed, and hast never had such an effect in the first place. Also, you don;t need CoA Hard *at the Moment*. Why was that so hard to understand>
