Jupitel mastery question (I'm really confused)

This is the situation: I haven't learned Jupitel Thunder nor Jupitel Thunder Mastery, because I decided to pick the buffs and support skills first. However, when I use Cold Bolt and Wind Seal effect is triggered, the Jupitel Thunder gauge appears! Also, when I use Lightning Bolt, the gauge lowers, as if I was using Jupitel Thunder! Is this normal?

Please, help me! I haven't seen any explanation to this in the guides.

It does that as soon as you change to sorc, its just an effect.

The icon in the topright was there as a magician already. Once you become a sorc that stack indicator is shown next to your character, it's not specifically for jupitel thunder but for any lightning spell, varetyr spear uses it as well.
I hated not having that guage yet as a mage because it's so inconvenient to have to keep an eye in the corner of your screen to see if your wind seal is proccing yet :S

This is not a Jupitel Thunder ability.

This is your counter for Wind Emblem double lightning damage procs. It effects Lightning Bolt, Jupitel Thunder, and Varetyr Spear.

Oh, Thank you so much! I was confused because of the symbol. It looks different from the wind emblem lol sorry, I thought this gauge was for the two instant JT. Finraziel, I agree with you. Magicians should have the gauge too.

Ya I was confused at this as well when I changed. It's basically a "Combo meter" like the other classes have, but one that doesn't show up as a 1st class.
