Recently we have come to notice many users are posting threads without looking to see if a thread about the same subject already exists. This causes problems for us when we try to make sure everyone sees the information or questions we post. So I will give you a little tutorial about using the search function here on our forums.

Step 1 - Locating the Search Button

At the top of the forums, you'll see the headers.

See that red box? That's the search button.

Click it.

Step 2 - Navigating the Search Bar

As you can see, clicking the button gives you a new box to type in with a few options.

This includes the Advanced Search options. We don't need these at the moment.

For now, keep the selection on Forums.

Step 3 - Entering Your Search Parameters

So. What are you looking for? Try to use four words or less and be very specific. For example:

You want to find out if someone already posted a topic about the infamous HackShield errors. I am going to pick one of the random ones. [e9040011] So...

First I tried just "HackShield Error"

As you can see, I got a lot of results.

Now, let's see if we got anything in relation to our specific error.

See the red box? That's the exact error code we have as well.

Step 4 - [If Step 3 wasn't successful] Posting Your Issue

So, say we didn't find an already existing thread for problem we have. Then you'll have to make a post about the issue you're having.

techsupport_zpsf52bc756.pngbugreports_zps20b4aab7.png

First, has your problem occurred outside the game or before you could actually play it? Or did it happen while playing the game?

Anything that is outside the game itself needs to be posted in the Technical Support section.

And anything that occurred while playing needs to be posted in the Bug Reports section.

Now when making a post, you have to provide as much relevant information to the topic as possible. DO NOT include your email or password, EVER. Keep any other topics and discussions out of the topic, as it takes attention away from the problem at hand. As always, stick to the Terms of Service and Forum Rules when posting on the Warp Portal forums.

Good luck to those who are looking for solutions and fixes!
