Refining

Ok so.. basically I went and tried to get a (U) Item to 15 for the sake of it... (was at 10)...

Bought Lisents / Plutos / Venus (150m worth) and after all that... it's at a staggering (8)... nice...

Does anyone know a good powder/lisent to level combo? cause this is the 2nd time I've tried to do this (total 300m gone down the drain)


Example:

Refine 1-3 (Grey)
Refine 4-5 (Green)... and so on..

If anyone knows any tips and tricks.. it would be much appriciated. (Read the guide to refining already)

P.S. Also does anyone know the EXACT level a Unique item gets destroyed (without pluto)? Guide says 8 or 9.. but the precise refine level would be nice.(NPC text says it will be destroyed after 5.. which doesn't help) Thanks.

okay i'll start off,
what I use when I hit (10) is:
10-11: Lisent Fe
11-13: Lisent Al
13-15: Lisent NA

this is in my opinion the best combination, tho it gives high succes chances when u use NA's, the refining chance to succes is much lower than you think, and the chance to fail is big

Just throwing it out there, but if you could make a 15 with only 150m worth of mats would they cost as much as they do?

Uniques and every non item mall item gets destroyed 5-10 without a plutorune if it fails.

its actually refreshing hearing your story compared to mind dont worry about losing 300m idunno how much that is to u but honestly theres peaple that lose way more i personally have blowed over 4b literally on 8 chiv boots and head it was at 10 to 13 and i blowed 4b and i started with 400 pinks and 100 fe's but ive also made a 400m (15) before it really just depends if its your day or not.
1-5:whites (u dont have to worry about fail if its something like union cuz of union bindrunes go 3-5 grey's)
5-7 Greys: you'll have 77% (with venarunes)and then 67%
7-8or9 pinks:
8or 9-10:reds u should keep around above 65 through these refines if i remember right.
10-12 fe's: i think you should be around 55% through this good luck! xD
12-13 al's
13-15 na's
AU isnt worth it because what is it like 15m per AU? 20x15 is 300m just for a refine that u MIGHT succeed
